Atmosphere was nice it was clean. Service was great, however, I was a bit disappointed with my food as this place came highly recommended by my visit to Brainerd. I had Chicken curry that was runny and was like soup. The brown rice served on side was hard and not edible. The curry dish I had was dumped with a coleslaw mix that was not cooked. I did order vegetable spring rolls and these too had no flavor and filled with coleslaw mix. The peanut sauce was good. My companion that was with me had a salad and she said too the wild rice was not cooked and was hard to chew.

Came here for lunch while visiting Nisswa for a long weekend. Service was outstanding and food was fantastic! Loved the mushroom soup, portobello fries and curry bowl! This will be our go to restaurant when we are back in the area.

Food was delicious and hot. We did have to remind our waitress multiple times of things we had asked for, like napkins (prior to receiving our meal because a young one at our table spilt her milk, and we had to sit there for some time just waiting) and straws. Not end of the world. But she had to be reminded a few times, and the place wasn’t crazy busy or understaffed by the looks of it. We also had to wait awhile just for our water which seemed odd. Took awhile for our food but it tasted good and was hot.

Stopped here for an early dinner before the Escape room across the street and the service was super kind. I loved that they did a soup flight that allowed you to try everything. The server was also really nice about my friend who is gluten-free I have to say, though my steak dinner and the broccoli side had way too much of the jar garlic on it. I also did not love the Italian meatball soup, it had little pieces of chopped up salami that made it taste kind of funky.The inside was super cute and the music was pretty decent! Probably one of the nicer spots you’re gonna find to eat in Brainerd.

The food is delicious! Best Ruben ever!! Avocado toast was tasty, egg cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was fun with good tunes! 10/10 recommend!

I've been to Sage on Laurel twice over the last year. The variety of menu items and delectable flavor profile they work into each dish is a delight for the taste buds. They even had some breakfast items now. Perfect for a late (or early!) breakfast. Atmosphere is eclectic and unique.Vegetarian options: Tofu, eggs.
