Independently owned diners are getting hard to find so I like supporting those that remain. The Skillet is a classic old diner having great personalities and great food.

Good food ok prices. Services was great. Seat is super limited. If you had a family of more then 4 have a back up plan to head to if the one table that fits more then 4 is full. We were mean mugged by a waiting family for almost 20 minutes. Talk about awkward.

My daughter had the potato chip chicken strips, my friend had the shoom burger, and I had the strawberry cream cheese french toast. Theirs was delicious. Mine was like eating a spoonful of sugar.

Good place for breakfast. The caramel rolls are awesome and huge. They'd be enough for breakfast, but the meals are great too, so I usually take home leftovers.

Went into breakfast with my son to have a quick breakfast and get back on the road, the server sat us down and got us waters. About five minutes later which was no big deal…. Took about 10 minutes before they took our order which was OK … but then we waited an additional 40 minutes before we talk to anybody or found out what was going on with our food…. I literally asked the server and at that point he said no worries…. Your food is going on now! Another 15 minutes later, we received our food … Keep in mind it wasn’t busy. There was only five other tables in the building, it was just horrible customer service by the server and whoever was running the kitchen…. In light, the server was kind, but not very tentative whatsoever…

This place felt like a small town restaurant. The food was wonderful. I had the cinnamon roll that was the size of a dessert plate. Had to bring half home. Will definitely be going back. We got there about 9 and to wait maybe 5 minutes. It pays to go early on Sunday.
