This place is legit. It's got great food, even better service, and it was an overall great experience. The downside is the wait on a Sunday and the time it takes to get your food, but it is all worth the wait if you have the time.
We had lunch here as we traveled through town. Service was a mixed bag. The wait staff did a nice job, but the kitchen was super slow, which was frustrating because we wanted to get going.
The food was also mixed. I had a bacon, cheese burger which was good. My wife had French toast which was burned on one side.
I probably wouldn't stop there again.

This is a small town cafe that feels as it should!! If you're like me and appreciate this atmosphere the food will bring you back! For me this is the only breakfast in Brainerd!!!
