My wife and I love to frequent this place during the warmer months when they are open. The pizza is excellent, the surroundings are delightful and cause one to relax and slow down. The owners understand the fitting music selection to play for their winery.
It is so refreshing to go someplace where there are no TV’s screaming for your attention and old worn out Top 40 “deep cuts” blaring in your ears so loud you can’t hold a conversation.
Thank you guys for all you do at Burr and for all the people that work there and their warm smiles and great attitudes.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff has always been friendly, and, of course, the wine is excellent. 10 out of 10!

Last weekend was my first time (Father's Day Weekend) at Burr Vineyards and impressed.
After trying a variety of wines, the Marquette was my favorite.
We also ordered every pizza on the menu, which are made from a sourdough crust and were all fantastic but the Brie was a favorite.
For dessert, we had ice cream from Food Truck.
We were with our kids and grandparents and would recommend.

In my opinion best winery in this area. Had a positive experience here. We each had a glass of Marquette. They have a great area for sitting and not far from Alexandria. Friday nights they have pizza night wood fire pizza and on sourdough crust sounds fabulously. Will make sure to reserve our spot for pizza and wine next time we are in town. As so should you reading this.Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the visit! Wine was good (Marquette) and there were a number of nice areas to sit and relax. Had a nice chat with owners who are very friendly. Heard good things about the pizza - sour dough crust and wood fired. Truly a hidden gem you should check out if you are in the area.

We were there on the perfect summer day in June. The wines were nice...liked the Marquette best. The grand-daughter of the owner waited on us and was fun and pleasant. Happy to see multi-generational family business!

Beautiful Winery. Service was great and wine was fabulous, had a flight. Only negative... we didn't order a pizza in advance. Looked so good. Next visit. Thx!

Burr Vineyards is my favorite place to be in the summer. They have it all - peaceful and beautiful views, delicious pizza on Friday nights (the Thai is my personal favorite), award winning wine, and the sweetest owners you will meet. They always have great suggestions to offer when you aren’t sure what to get. This family run business is one of the best in the area and you won’t regret going!

An amazing gem. I really enjoyed both the wines and the winery. I sampled a number of wines and each one was a thoughtful expression of the grapes. The winery itself is beautiful. There are many lovely places to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. My own experience was a quiet Thursday... Totally amazing. I had an enjoyable flight of wines. I loved watching the chickens. I had a blast throwing the ball for the lovely and friendly vineyard dog. This place is a must visit if you're anywhere even vaguely close.

Great wine and really cool seating. Plenty of space for large groups and they have great trails to walk through.
