Great Food ,Tasty Carrot cake and good Milkshakes
THIS will be our new place! Great food! Wonderful 50's history! Fantastic family dinner diner!
Nails that 50s vibe with the atmosphere, the service was incredibly friendly and timely, and a variety of great dishes on the menu
My family has been coming here for many years, often with large groups that include older adults, and children. The service is always good, the food and dessert are delicious, and things are like home cooking. I highly recommend it.
Great little 50's style diner with decent portion sizes. The Cajun Chicken sandwich is 🤌. Milkshakes are good too.
Update: We gave it another shot and it's only evident that this place is steadily going downhill. The quality of the food is going down while the prices are going up. The service is super slow and things are forgotten on our orders. And waiting 20 minutes to get a refill on our drinks. And this is at 7:30pm, not at dinner rush. My husband got a club sandwich and one section was three pieces of bread with a leaf of lettuce in one part and a strip of bacon in the other.
Previous visit: While our waitress was great and the food delicious, it would help if the hostess informs her staff when someone has been seated in their section. We waited over 12 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. I finally got up to go to the front when I ran into a waitress and said we had been waiting at our table for someone to take our order. She said she was never informed that we were seated and took our order right away. The waitress was super nice and friendly, which we appreciated.
Great food and great service.

50's grill is a really good restaraunt with fresh food made from scratch including the breads using real food. The service is courteous and prompt and prices are reasonable. I would check this out if you are nearby or considering!

This place is amazing! Every food I tried was delicious, the waitress was super attentive without being pestering, and the vibe wasn't in your face 50s it was more like a relaxed 50s like if you'd gone to any restaurant back in the day. And one more thing about the vibe I could talk to my partner and they could hear me!
Food I tried:
French Bread
Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
Roast Turkey Dinner - with turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and of course gravy
Pumpkin pie
Green River Phosphate - it's lime flavored and I didn't love this at first, but get it with a second pump and it tastes just like an otter pop or freezie.
I took some nibbles off my partners plate too:
Chicken Strips
French Fries
So delicious, I can't wait to go back!

Our meal was delicious. I really enjoyed their made-in-house breads.
Service was prompt and courteous. The split pea and ham soup was some of the best I've ever had. I had a chicken salad Cajun style that was good and finally a piece of banana cream pie that was excellent. We need to move this restaurant down into my area so I could go there more often
