A great place to stop and have lunch. The staff is friendly and personable. The food us cooked fresh. The crowd varies butnare interactive most are regulars. There is a game area to burn some energy and have fun..The downstairs was rented for a wedding reception. The event planner trnascnded the setting and it was amazing. The was a write up in the crystal paper giving the reviews, on the reception, and the allure.

We paid $1800 to use their private party room down stairs of the vfw. It’s seemed as if they plotted on our money because within 30 minutes of the party starting it was shut down. The bartender was very disrespectful touching things that did not belong to him that we set up in the party, things like dj equipment. Yes he did find a bottle of liquor that was unopened which was a gift for my aunts birthday. She is really hurt and was really looking forward to her party. This is not the first time we’ve had a party at vfw and was treated wrongfully in this time around.

The food was very good, and the staff was attentive. Unfortunately, there was only one cook, and a fryer was out of service, so it took longer than expected for our meal. Our group needed to be somewhere for a meeting, so that caused some stress.

I have been here a few times, once with my dad for a celebration for the older vets,once for a celebration of life get together.. easy parking and access, bar downstairs, friendly people and clean. Good facility for events.
