The Grandma is super nice but… she charged me extra and said she was giving me free cheese wontons. ??‍♂️. It’s like I was being tricked to buy it ??‍♂️

The chicken fried rice was ? Just wish there were bigger pieces of meat in it bc that’s all I need is fried rice. I didn’t care for the general tso chicken bc the sauce is poured on top and not cooked together. I hated it. But the fried rice is fire! If you don’t like it? You’re used to bland fried rice they make for white Americans. Sorry! Lol

I ordered sesame chicken, was given sweet & sour chicken with a sauce I DID not like. MyChicken was swimming in that sauce. It was dripping all out of the container, into the box i was given to hold my food in. The chick Fried rice was OK @ best. Egg roll was good & wontons were good. The lady up front was very kind. Probably will not return or recommend.

My recent visit to this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The layout and cleanliness were subpar, and I question how they are still in business without intervention from health inspectors. Service was slow, with staff more focused on tasks in the back than attending to customers. Despite high expectations, the food was a letdown. I ordered beef fried rice but received a mystery meat dish, accompanied by dirty silverware, and chili oil that looked to be left out for everyone to use. When I questioned the meat, the server tried to pass it off as steak, steak isn’t white, despite its obvious discrepancies. Proceed with caution if you choose to dine here.

Very delicious food. Ordered shrimp lo mein, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, fried chicken wings, and cream cheese wontons. 8 out of 10 overall. Small restaurant. Customer service was great. Please support this family owned business. Large is very large, I found out.

Parking: It is located in a strip mall. Plenty of parking.

All I can say is YUCK. Ordered chicken wing app, pork egg foo young and chicken fried rice $31.00 take out. She said she was giving me a big portion, I didnt notice anything extra. Chicken wings=bones and batter, pork egg foo young=I think they gave me chicken, because I saw one small bit of it in some gelatinous gravy, chicken fried rice=just awful scraps of chicken with bits of bones and everything was overly salted!!!! The seating area looked like they rented it out for storage or something....Big disappiontment, Leeann Chins would have been a better choice.

Just stopped in. Read some good reviews online about the Mongolian Beef so I tried it out. I honesty wasn’t expecting much but it was fantastic. The portion was huge. The two owners said they were going to give me a lot and they did. They were very nice also. The the food was great. Tons of crispy but tender veggies and the flavor and spice was perfect. And it was steaming hot and you can tell the product was fresh. 10/10

Stopped in today and had the best experience! As soon as I entered the restaurant I was kindly greeted and welcomed in. I ordered and Amy said she was going to make it special for me and then gave me two oranges out of the blue. When she brought the food out she gave me a spoon and had me try it to make sure I liked it and it was delicious. It was so hard to wait till I got the food home to dig in. We had the chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, egg rolls and cream cheese puffs. Everything was so delicious and the portions were massive! Photos don’t do it any justice! But my favorite part was how proud she was to show me the photos of her family on the walls and she even gave me hug which was so sweet. Wonderful place!!

A cute local spot for good Chinese food. I’ve had take out from here and just ordered catering for the first time, got a tray of chicken wings. The wings are really good, flavorful with a light tempura-like batter. I highly recommend, the owners and cook were so kind. Give them your business, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been coming to House of Hui’s for over 30 years since my grandmother would bring me as a boy when we moved to Brooklyn Center and graduated from BCHS. Jimmy and his family have always had the highest standards to making sure food is incredible and has been consistent and delicious for all that time. They are also active in the community and go out of their way to take care of people and are so gracious. So much so that I come back to BC to purchase for my my extended family every year because they love the food and can’t believe I can find such delicious a Chinese food. This place is a hidden gem and more people need to know about it, not just the old school BC grads. If I could give 100 stars I would.
