Palm Grove Event Center

We utilized the 2nd level of Palm Grove event center for our wedding date 09/27/2025 and the space was amazing. We also utilized catering services through Palm Grove Event Center and the food was great. We choose buffet style ( jerk chicken, beef, rice and peas, jollof rice, white rice, salad, fruit, water and lemonade for our beverage). The food was very flavorful and the staff ensured there was enough food for our guest of 150-200 people.

I went there to attend a birthday party and oh my word!!! This place is so stunning and beautiful, I especially loved their outdoor venue. They have great food, ambience and toilets too. I’ve already booked my event with them.

This was the worst experience EVER! Me and my family went for drinks and music. We were given shots of WATER!! I bought 3 of the same drinks from 3 different bartenders. I was charged 3 different prices from each bartender. We asked to speak with a manager. The manager was RUDE and non chalant. We told him of our experiences we had and we were just given WATER as a shot and we watched the bartender pour it out the liquor bottle. He told us we were lying. We gave him the shot to smell. He said he was going to talk to the bartender. He disappeared for about 15-20mins. He finally comes back and says that we were right it was water and it was the "practice bottles". What does that even mean???? We asked for refunds and he refused to give us our money back. They are shady business owners and serving water as liquor. I will never ever ever go back and I am telling all of my friends to never support this business!!!

While the event center is nice. The owner, staff, promoters, and security are extremely unprofessional and have no idea what is going on as cohesive unit. The venue is never truly busy and so the owner with try to scam you for every dollar he can get. If you book an event here make sure you get the dollar amount for your party in advance (with physical evidence of the conversation and said price) Because it will definitely increase. Even if you had an agreement before the event. The owner tried to use scare tactics of yelling in our faces as a group of women. Then threatened to call the police because he didn’t like we did not want the birthday party package. After our group paid to get in, paid for the section (in a non busy venue we had the biggest group) and half the group paid for food already. The staff at the door also made the comment of we smell like water. When asked what does that mean the man said it looks like we washed our a**es. Now stop being mad and go shake them. The building is the only nice thing about this place.

The restaurant here, BB's fire grill, was worth every cent. From flavor and presentation to service and atmosphere.
