I was going to be in the area and looked up a new place to try. I have never heard of Slim's but it looked good and it was on my way home. I was pleasantly surprised by this chicken bowl! It's probably the closest chicken and rice dish I've had outside of the famous Manhattan screen cart (IYKYK)! The chicken is flavorful and cooked well, the rice is good AND my favorite part was the white sauce! It all just goes so well together. The fries were ok, guessing they would have been better if I had them fresh, but by the time I got them home they were cold and soggy. The seasoning was good.

I've been here 3 times and I've had food poisoning all 3 times to where I was violently ill. So if you want to be puking and ill for the next 4 days have at it . To each thier own I guess.
