It was a young girl in there, she was very rude and no good customer service skills, just was not polite, asking very stand offish, otherwise any other time I come the food is good

Food was very delicious and flavorful! This place is my number one spot to go to for African cuisine. I ordered the potato green and collard green. The level of spice was just right. It definitely made me get seconds!

I have always kept this grocery store, butcher shop and restaurant, all rolled into one, as a go-to when I'm in Brooklyn Center. For classic panAfrixan food items, you can find anything here from fried fish to palm butter to rice. To the right of the store when you walk in, is the butcher shop. They carry a wide variety of meat and fish. they do not have much in the way of produce, but I have noticed potato leaves, yams, cassava, root, and other more traditional African items available. I imagine in the summer they will be more options. In the back of the grocery store is the restaurant. The food is delicious, authentic and on the spicy side, so heads up to anyone wondering if they might burn their tongues. The answer is most likely. If you are wanting to avoid oil and salt, try one of their meat pies, fresh juices or jill of rice. The sauces are delicious but err on the side of oil and they do use MSG for flavoring. however, nothing in there hot deli options is bad. It's all delicious.A few pointers, call ahead or go early if you have particular types of dishes, you like, because the cassava and palava sauce ate often gone quickly and often. I am not sure why the owners don't make extra backup of these two dishes, as they are notoriously gone most of the time by the time I ask for them. For this reason, I did not give them a 5 stars as they are often out of the most popular dishes and don't do as effective job planning with back up for customer who come later for the same dishes.

When I got there, they were out of the food I order and they gave me something else cheaper and still charge me the same price that I've have already paid online. First time there and last time going there.

It seems like quality is just a downhill slope for this place. Not only was my food burnt the customer service makes you never want to come back. I should’ve went to the reviews first because people are warning you on the reviews the food be burnt so taste first.

Friendly and fast one of the best spots in the area. Can be on the pricey end but quantity and quality is worth it..

The food was good but one dimensional the greens tasted a lot like the cassava leaf. The pepper soup was good also. What made me give this restaurant this rating was because of the customer service and cleanliness. Not once did i see them sanitize anything and i even saw people walking out without a mask!!!! There was food in the doorway and the owner even admitted to never being there or available.

Owner is the sweetest person ever! Food is absolutely delicious. We had a large order catered for a business event and food hit and ready on time. Jollof Rice is perfection
