El Huichol Mexican Restaurant

This place serves okay burritos. We were told that the salsa verde was going to be spicy but it really wasn't. The Birria taco dip was flavorful and was necessary because the beef was quite dry. There weren't many people on a Sunday afternoon so it was quiet.

We chose this restaurant based upon reviews and I'm not sure why our experience was so different from others, but our meal and service was horrible. We were prepared for authentic Mexican and what was delivered to our table was everything but authentic. I dare even say that Taco Bell could have been better. Ugh! Then when we tried to speak to the server her English was so limited we couldn't adequately convey our concerns. She simply said sorry and then handed us the bill even though she clearly could tell we ate nothing. We really wanted to like this charming restaurant and support an independent owner, but sadly we won't be back.

Great place for flavorful Mexican food. We enjoyed the Sunday afternoon buffet. Lots of choices.

We went for brunch on a Sunday mid morning. Bigger brunch was good, omelettes made fresh in front of you. Coffee, drinks and desserts all included in the price, which was very reasonable. Friendly staff to top it off! I would go there again.

Excellent food and service by Elba!
My hubby loved his chimichanga, con birria and I had the quesabirria tacos! Both dishes arrived hot and delicious.
We like salsa that has some kick to it, and found the provided salsa too mild, and the server brought us a squeeze bottle of spicier salsa at no extra charge

Just had their food for the first time tonight. Absolute best Mexican food in the area, might be close to best Mexican restaurant food I’ve ever had!!!

I went with my family to eat the other day, we ordered pozole and bistec everything was very delicious, they have very good service, I am very grateful for how well Isabel served us, she was very kind and attentive, an excellent place to eat!!
