I was very disappointed when tried to pull the menu up u have to have Facebook to see the menu, I called the restaurant the lady answered the phone was so rude I was like excuse me. Then cut me off when I was in the middle of ordering. When we finally finished our order she said I couldn't pay over the phone . Got our food and the Sesame chicken was not what we expected they didn't even put the food together I was shocked to see our order the food was horrible for 74 dollars I would expected my order and being a new customer.. Just all around bad they made me feel just like they didn't want my business..so I won't be going back again and I will be telling my family and friends what happen.

I ordered almost $50.00 worth of food. The appetizers were good, however, I didn't care for the entree I ordered which was Kung Pao Chicken. So, I called and ordered a different entree, Szechuan Chicken and Sesame Balls, which was $16.00 total.
Unfortunately, when I arrived home, I realized that both entrees were exactly the same? Same veggies, type of chicken as well as exact taste with peanuts?! I have never heard of Szechuan Chicken with peanuts. So I called because I assumed that there was a mistake because I obviously wouldn't have reordered the same dish that I didn't like.
But when I called I was told that Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Chicken which they call "Spicy Chicken" is the same exact thing! And more or less that I was just out of luck and more or less it was my fault even though I did mention that I did not like my previous entree kung pao chicken which is why I was ordering a different entree. Yet no one told me while I was ordering the new entree.
Deceiving menu and horrible customer service.

Had takeout from here the other day. Hadn’t been here in a while and didn’t realize that takeout might be all they do now. I also made sure to bring cash but they also seem to take cards now, although you need to pay a fee. Food was good. I got the egg foo young and chow mein, and it was a bit on the salty side. Also got beef and broccoli, orange chicken, egg rolls and cream cheese wantons. Orange chicken had large chunks of chicken that they placed in a bag. The sauce was on the side. I would probably order that again. The beef and broccoli was pretty standard. The egg rolls were great. We usually order from Chin Yuen in Monticello but glad I switched it up.

Ordered take out for the family. Never have I ordered orange chicken and sesame chicken and have to mix the sauce in myself. No one liked the food. They all said it didn't taste like it was supposed to. Pretty sad for paying $105.00 for total order. I can't really give any stars for this meal and the price!
1st visited 18 years ago and when I come through town they are always one of my stops. Worth the 60 minute drive.

Ordered dinner here for my family. The food was gross. The oil used tasted rancid. The peas and carrots appeared to come from the frozen section of the supermarket. The mushrooms came from a can. I don't recommend if you want fresh, authentic Asian cuisine.

I love House of Lo, I always look forward to the Cream Cheese Wontons whenever I am in town. The staff are incredibly friendly and I always order 2 orders of cream cheese wontons, even though I am severely lactose intolerant.

Been looking for good authentic Chinese food for years. Ever since the Nankin and then Asia in Fridley closed I’ve been on a quest. In Buffalo this past Saturday for Ladies Day Out and stopped at both Chinese restaurants. This one won out. The chicken chow menu was exactly what I was hoping for. Small cut celery with ground chicken, nice brown sauce and just a hint of sweetness. Got mine with the onions. Going back on Tuesday to try the egg foo young and barbecued fried rice. And of course more chicken chow mein. Not much atmosphere but it’s takeout only so who cares!!!

Half of my plate was onion. It was the worst food that I have ever eaten. Waste of money. And rude staff.

None of the sauces on our chicken dishes were good. The sesame tasted of little but salt, the orange had no citrus flavor and the s&s was neither sweet nor sour. The fried rice was disappointing. The almond chicken was decent. The potstickers and cheese wantons were good. But the potsticker sauce tasted just of soy sauce without anything else in it.All in all I doubt we will ever go back.

Could really use some better lunch or dinner specials with lo mien instead of just chow mien. Otherwise I really enjoy this place when I don't feel like driving to Big Lake for Chinese food.
