Had takeout from here the other day. Hadn’t been here in a while and didn’t realize that takeout might be all they do now. I also made sure to bring cash but they also seem to take cards now, although you need to pay a fee. Food was good. I got the egg foo young and chow mein, and it was a bit on the salty side. I love House of Lo, I always look forward to the Cream Cheese Wontons whenever I am in town. The staff are incredibly friendly and I always order 2 orders of cream cheese wontons, even though I am severely lactose intolerant.
Been looking for good authentic Chinese food for years. Ever since the Nankin and then Asia in Fridley closed I’ve been on a quest. In Buffalo this past Saturday for Ladies Day Out and stopped at both Chinese restaurants. This one won out. The chicken chow menu was exactly what I was hoping for. Small cut celery with ground chicken, nice brown sauce and just a hint of sweetness. Got mine with the onions. Going back on Tuesday to try the egg foo young and barbecued fried rice....
