I think about these sandwiches constantly, how good they are, and make it a point to go multiple times when I visit MSP. When I relocate to the area, Blue Ox will be a problem for my wallet but not for my stomach.

One of the best sandwich shops I’ve ever been too (and I travel often)! I’ve been coming here for years because I enjoy their food and the quality remains the same.

The location could be easily missed but it is easy to find right outside the Burnsville mall. Parking is free and there is ample. The space is smaller, it’s a family owned sized feel.

The food is delicious! Everything I’ve ever ordered I have enjoyed. Flavorful, healthy, fresh. Some of my favorite are the Mighty Buffalo and Turkeyville smoker (I add pickles & extra honey mustard). Their bread is so yummy and it’s like its baked on site daily.

I also love their delicious homemade desserts like the raspberry oatmeal and peanut butter rice crispy! The soups, salads and shakes are also great and flavorful options. Can’t go wrong here!

Great place to eat with outstanding service. Our favorite is the Swamp Thing with a side of fries. The chicken has great seasoning and is cooked perfectly.

Other favorites are the Italian and Meataxe.

This is my second time coming here & it didn't disappoint. I don't go to this area very often, so when I was searching for a great sandwich shop, I guess the name drew me in first, but the food & friendly service draws me back. As I recall, on the 1st visit I had the Italian sandwich, my go-to. I remember I liked it very much. My 2nd visit I had the Shore Lunch (walleye sandwich). It was delish, very tasty with a light batter & just the right amount of good tarter sauce. Since I was there on a Wednesday, I had the soup of the day, Fresh Mushroom. Oh my gosh! It was the best! I really want to work my way through their menu, so I will need to plan to make more trips in that area. The prices are just right too, very affordable.
