My first time here was a great experience! Food was fantastic, my dad used to come here when he was a kid, so it was really cool that he was able to share a memory like this. The waitress was super nice and the prices were super cheap.
It has been a while to dine in since pandemic, service is great and food is delicious.
Very disappointed. My family had invited a bunch of family members to help celebrate my son's birthday at Buca this year. Upon arrival, this location was closed. However, both their own website and Google shows them as being open. We found another local restaurant to eat at, but this caused a few issues as people were driving from far away suburbs... We would've met at the Saint Paul location, if this was known prior. What a waste of everyone's time.
GREAT FOOOOD & FRIENDS!!!
Our server (Adam) was great. The food was delicious. My family and I enjoyed ourselves last night at Buca di Beppo in Burnsville, MN!
First time here, and will definitely go back. Family style at its best!
Had such a great experience with this restaurant!! To start off I was able to make reservations for a party of 14 the night before. They called me the next day to confirm, which I appreciated since I felt it was too easy making the reservation. Then while we were waiting for some of our guests to show up our server, Matt, was very patient with us during our orders and dividing up the groups checks. The staff gathered up and sang a birthday song for my daughter. Food was great, service was excellent and the portions were very shareable!
Had our rehearsal dinner there the night before our wedding. They were so friendly and accommodating. Great menu choices and very helpful answering questions regarding dietary needs.
Amazing food and great staff! It had been a few years since I had gone and it was still the same. Save room for dessert!
They changed their chocolate cake and it’s gross. It’s entirely frosting and a very small, short sliver for $16. It used to be this massive piece that I could happily share, it was delicious! Now, I had to rifle through the frosting to get three small bites. For the price, I’m disappointed and, honestly, I want my money back.

Portion sizes for the price have declined considerably over the course of the last few years.$40 for a large Lemon Chicken entree gets you 3 smallish tenderloin size pieces of chicken. Essentially 1lb of chicken for $40. That is ridiculous. Some entrees are better than others, but $40 for 1lb of chicken is a scam. The delivery time was prompt, i'll give them that, but expect to pay for very little.
My husband and I went for the first time and we loved it! The server was very nice and attentive. Although it is more of a big family type of place we still liked it.
Best food and service. The waiter was fun.....
Kudos to Mark Jamrozek and our fantastic Waiter, Adam. Adam helped us navigate around some food allergies, double-checking with the kitchen just to be sure. One of our party runs their own Italian Restaurant, so our group is not easy to impress. They did a stellar job with the food and the service. They serve family style and Adam made proper recommendations so that we were not overwhelmed with leftovers. The restaurant itself has some interesting decor and we enjoyed walking through on our way out. This is definitely a place we will visit again. Thank you for a great evening!
My first time to Buca di Beppo in Burnsville was enjoyable. The restaurant was observing Covid-19 protocols, so it was not crowded. The spaghetti with meatballs was very good. The garlic cheese bread was also good. We ordered one mixed drink and a root beer - which we also enjoyed. I found their menu a little confusing. For one: the QR code they gave us pulled up a different restaurant's menu. For two: I haven't ever been faced with a family style menu before. Dishes were order by small (serves 3) or large (serves 6). I guess this is unique, but if two or three people don't want the same dish, it surely complicates the process of going out to eat. I am not sure how it is for most people, but with my family it is hard enough to get agreement on a restaurant, let alone a dish. The bill for two people ended up at $65 plus tip, so I thought that was a little high for two people to eat spaghetti and have one mixed drink. On another note, the dessert was also sold family style, making a serving $15. That's pretty high if only one person wants dessert. To summarize, while I am sure that the family menu has raised the average check per seating significantly for the owners of Buca, I don't feel that it is probably the best thing for the customers. If you aren't looking to drop a $100 bill, even for just two people, don't look at this establishment for an inexpensive meal out.
