It's decent... I guess the food was alright, good even.... For the money. The guy that helped us with everything from the time we arrived until we finally left was nice enough, hospitable even. Considering that the only thing we even ordered that time around was some cream cheese wontons and a couple of sodas, he was remarkably welcoming and accommodating to us for the several me and father spent there. We had dined there in the past once or twice but I doubt he recognized us as anyone other than random people. When we showed up this time it was the middle of a cruddy rain storm and we had just checked out of the hotel across the street. Along with the two of us came our luggage which we brought inside and to the table that we sat at... Father is very particular about his luggage and wont allow it to leave his sight. We spent the next couple hours in this place figuring out what we were gonna do while waiting out the rain. As I mentioned I have eaten there before and the food is very decent. They serve American Chinese as well as Halal. I've only had the Chinese so I can't speak for the other stuff.

Awesome, Food was absolutely delicious and the guy at the desk and the chef were super nice, too bad they only had us as the customers but the vibe was super chill and relaxed, definitely 10/10. Best indian food. (The bread the softest i've seen in america)Parking: Great and spacious
Worse buffet ever… and indeed “a meal to remember” as advertised! I bet can you get much better food in Bangladeshi prisons than what was offered and served here. I went with few friends, and never had i experienced such a scam of buffet in my lifetime. These crooks should be in prison, and they will appreciate prison food. Please don’t give desi and Chinese dish a bad name

I only put in a star because I have to. Halal Express was quite literally the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The service was terrible! the only time we saw any wait staff was when we came in, and when we left. the food itself, was awful. badly cooked, flavors were way off. I ordered the fish half an hour before I went and it was still late, and then it wasn't edible! it was covered in a very unsavory gravy, and almost completely raw underneath. suffice it to say, I will not be going back and will make sure to let people know how bad it was

I wanted to try this new place but wasn't expecting much. This place exceeded my expectations. They have a lot of food on their menu and buffet, lots of options that actually taste good. We were 5 people and we all ate something different just to try it out, it was ALL good. Went it a week later and tried something else, it was also good. You should try it for yourself.

They served us a rotten food / biryanni. I asked the waiter to taste the food, he refused to taste it. Chef refused to come out. They knew that they served us a bad food. Shame on you! Dont use the word halal to make such a filthy business. Change it to " Rotten"

This is the third time we have eaten here and the food is delicious! The cream cheese puffs are some of the best our group has ever eaten. I’m looking forward to trying more of their Indian options! The chicken tikka masala was fantastic!!
Amazing taste!! We tried chicken lo mein, egg chicken rolls and lamb biryani!! The best halal Chinese resturant in Minneapolis!! And lastly the best tea!!! The milk tea they served is outclass!!

Food was cold, needed to be microwaved longer.Having a buffet open with old looking food, does not look good. Might as well not have it visible instead of looking at old dry food.The guys were nice and gave the group some extra dessert because of the cold food.

Wonderful experience. Loved the orange chicken, shish lek kabab.I was so glad to finally be able to have fresh sugarcane juice in the US. Everything is Zabihah halal. Brother Khalid was very kind.
