My family visited Darchini House on New Year's Day. Small storefront in the strip mall. Evening dinner and service by ourselves as we were the last dining table for the evening. Quiet atmosphere with a clean table. The menu was large and descriptive. The food was exactly as described and tasted amazing. Service was prompt and courteous. Portions were large and left room for lunch the next day. The staff was friendly and kind. They spoke with us and explained where the recipes originated as well a history behind the flavors. I couldn't recommend this place enough. We have been back since and tried other dishes. It was delicious as well.
I am so happy I stopped here for lunch. The owner was very kind and helpful, and the food was fantastic! I had the chicken Tikka Masala and garlic Naan. Everything was so flavorful. I will definitely be returning with my friends and family.
I feel like I found a hidden gem here in Burnsville, the food is amazing, cooked fast and fresh! Food spice levels depending on your liking and flavor is amazing
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options
Parking: Big lot, well maintained including quick snow removal
Wheelchair accessibility: Lowered sidewalk, wheelchair can come right in front door
Dietary restrictions: Ingredients clearly listed and cooks answered questions. I am dairy free and was easily accommodated
Great service, even when waiting for take out. Expected taste, which is a good thing. Loved the samosa's dipped in green sauce.
The chicken tikka masala had the right amount of spice and flavor. Rice was perfectly cooked. Naan bread was the best part! I just wish the tikka masala had some kind of mixed veggie like another restaurant I’ve tried. Regardless- full and happy! Will go back when I’m in the area. Customer service was friendly.
Sampled mixed pakora, saag chicken, and mushroom paneer. So far each dish has been artfully seasoned and full of flavor. Small searing area, takeout is recommended.
Stopped by as I was passing through. Took a gamble and it paid off. Food was OK. Had a great conversation with the owner while waiting for my food. Wont say the food was the best I've had but it was authentic Indian. The garlic Naan was awesome.
Wholesome Indian food served in generous portions. Customer service was wonderful and we will be back to support this local gem.
Vegetarian options: A whole vegetarian menu section with excellent vegetarian options, plus two out of the three soups are plant-based (plus the rice and breads are also vegetarian).
Kid-friendliness: Very family-friendly
Parking: Lots of parking available
Recently opened, Darchini House is quintessential Indian food. No surprises with taste, we ordered a few things to share among our group, both vegetarian and meat dishes. What stood out was the service - extremely friendly and attentive. The decor is still coming along and the indoor dining experience wasn’t quite as expected, where it felt a little drabby, contrasting with the bright and delicious food; growing pains which warranted the 4/5 stars. But don’t let that dissuade you, we expect to be back next time we are visiting the area!
Delicious Indian cuisine and amazing service! Definitely will be my favorite go-to for Indian food, due to its proximity. Note: the portions are as always generous (like in other Indian restaurants), so we ended up splitting a dish, and still had left over for later.
