I just tried the Solo size pizza at Davanni’s in Burnsville, and honestly, it’s really good. The portion is perfect for one person, just enough without making you feel too full.

First time I went it was great, this last time I had to return my Pizza because whoever made the pizza did a horrible job. The cheese was so melted off on to the crust. It tasted so nasty I had to bring it back for a refund.

Really good food and staff very friendly. Went out of my way to come here and glad I did!

Great pizza and food, some of the best around town. The checkout is kinda clunky and slow, could be streamlined with one lane for pickup and one lane for ordering only. People ordering their pizzas and food take forever. When all you want to do is pick up your pizza, which is already paid for.

First off, for two medium pizzas and 12 chicken wings, and s two litter coke, almost $70.00! That's a bit high. The franchise pizza places at least run specials. We were staying in a local hotel, visiting from out of town, I politely asked for cups and plates, and pre tipped the delivery driver. We received the order and there was no cups or plates, and the delivery driver just said" sorry man" instead of trying to make it right. The taste was mediocre, the franchise pizza is comparable and less pricey. My advice , run some specials on your products if you want to compete, and better attention to detail when it comes to not forgetting important items.

Last Thursday night, a friend and I went to Davanni's in Burnsville for dinner. We chose the restaurant because it’s my favorite place in town for pizza! I ordered a solo pizza, a brownie, and a fountain drink; and my friend ordered a hot hoagie and a cup of water. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Everything about our meal was going perfectly, until it wasn’t. ☹ It went downhill fast, when a Davanni’s female employee started to clean half of the restaurant’s floor. Like, REALLY? WHY? It was 7:00 p.m., and they didn’t close until 9:00 p.m. We couldn’t believe that she would clean the floor so early. At the time, I was finishing my pizza and enjoying a nice conversation with my friend, when we were suddenly interrupted by the loud noise of tables and chairs that were being moved before the floor cleaning. The scraping noise was practically deafening in addition to being extremely irritating. It was like the screeching sound of fingernails across a chalkboard times one thousand! We literally had to pause in mid-sentence or repeat what we had just said to each other multiple times because of the noise level. My friend even asked the employee if she were following the instructions of her manager, but she either didn’t hear her or chose to ignore her. Then the mopping began. The floor cleaning chemical smell was overwhelming! Hey, I didn’t order my pizza with a side of bleach! I glanced over at the mop with its icky gray strings one time and did not look again, because I didn’t want to barf up my brownie that I was trying to eat. The employee never apologized to us for the offensive noise or odor. I still can’t believe that the manager would instruct her to clean the floor two hours before close when there were still patrons in the restaurant. In fact, there was an elderly couple sitting just around the corner from us, and the gentleman had a walker. I wonder what THEY thought of the whole thing? To top it all off, the employee did not put up a “CAUTION: Wet Floor” sign on the wet floor after she was finished. There are liability laws regarding wet, slippery floors! I had to do baby steps in my platform sandals when I walked across the wet floor so I wouldn’t slip and fall when we left our booth. I also cautioned my friend to be careful when she walked out. We really should’ve demanded our money back for our meals after experiencing something so horrible! In conclusion, I didn’t post this review to be mean or vindictive, I just wanted to warn other people, and express my disappointment in the management of this Davanni’s location. (Please note: I'm assuming that the manager instructed the employee to clean the floor, but maybe the employee just decided to do it on her own. Either way, the cleaning was done WAY too early in the evening.)

Absolutely the best pizza that I have ever ordered in the state of Minnesota!! I got the deep dish works pizza and an order of the cheese garlic bread. Absolutely ????????? for the size of the pizza it was evenly cooked and the toppings were fresh. I will absolutely be back!!!

Gave me the wrong pizza, would not accept a visa gift card, and my pizza was burnt. Must have been an off evening.
