Classic!! My Family loves coming to J's over and over again. The staff are great and the food is even better! Portions are large and the price is fair. We always leave wondering when we will.be coming back next.
Despite the dated decor and worn-out seats—a place that looks like it hasn’t changed much in decades—the moment the food arrives, all those details fade into the background. The culinary skill shines through every bite, turning a tired, unfussy setting into an unexpectedly memorable dining experience where the flavors steal the spotlight. It’s a hidden gem: what the place lacks in polish, it more than makes up for in taste.
This is a very small-town kind of restaurant. It is family owned. There was no wait time, it is self-seat only. I do wish the tables had been bigger but we were able to use another table (which was helpful with a quick-handed toddler). The food was great (the omelets). My French Toast was very bland but I added some cinnamon sugar and that made it better. I would recommend supporting small businesses like this. Especially when they put the effort into each customer!
