Favorites like pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, and hash browns are all done to perfection. The Northwoods Hashbrowns are so good! The omelets are huge and fluffy, stuffed full of cheesy goodness with lots of meat and veggies. The cinnamon roll pancakes were a big hit, and everyone loved the hashbrowns, which are as big as the plate and perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a small patio area with some shade, and the tables are spaced nicely apart, giving plenty of room to move about. The place is clean and spacious, with attentive service. Staff members like Kimberly and Nate provide friendly service, and management does an excellent job in hiring staff who are conscious of the needs of guests. Noise levels can sometimes be a problem, but they are usually accommodating in seating guests in a quieter area. The prices are surprisingly decent for the generous portion sizes, making it an excellent choice for families. The Original Pancake House is a place where guests will definitely not walk away hungry and will be eager to return.
