The Original Pancake House

This location was the most beautiful

When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostesses greeted us. We checked in, and they added us to the list and said we would receive a text when they had a table for us. After waiting around 20 to 25 minutes, we were brought to our table. A Hispanic gentleman took us to our table. He was very helpful and friendly.

Our server Terri came by and said she would be with us momentarily. She came by shortly after introduced herself and took our drink orders. After a bit, Terri returned and took our food order. I ordered the Chorizo Skillet with no tomatoes and no chorizo substitute turkey sausage with a side of wheat toast not pictured.

We started eating our food and I noticed it didn't have a lot of turkey sausage in it at all. It had so many onions that it overpowered the skillet. Also, the turkey sausage was not cut right so a lot of the pieces were half and three-quarter turkey links. My wife ordered the Northwood hash, and she said it wasn't flavorful at all so we asked Terri for hollandaise sauce to try to make it better and it helped a bit but not good enough to try again.

The service from the door to the table was perfect, but the food missed its mark, so much so that we might not go back to that location again. On another note, we did like how this Original Pancake House seemed newer and the decor was a lot nicer than others we’ve visited prior.

Great breakfast good tasting

By far one of the best places I have ever eaten at! The quality of everything is not from this world! Terri R. was a wonderful waitress!

The place is beautiful and the food was good. Pricier than expected. The hashbrowns are the size of a plate, and the pancakes and eggs were good.

What a surprise... Fantastic food and service. You must try the 49 Flapjack!!! You will be amazed!

Get the bacon!! So good! Hashbrowns were out of this world, too!!

What a nice Pancake House! A lovely atmosphere. Greeted by the nice gentlemen right away. Serve was very attentive. I really liked how the tables were spaced nicely apart and not crammed in like some other restaurants. Plenty of room to move about. Food was very good! Lemon Ricotta pancakes were light and fluffy with fresh raspberries. We also got the Northwoods Hashbrowns. So good! Thank you!

Gigi our waitress was great! She was attentive and friendly. We got several egg breakfast combos that came with pancakes. Hash browns were good but you need to season them and I the ham steaks were tasty as well. I asked for a modification on my pancakes and they added chocolate chips which I appreciated.

Place was clean and spacious. They also have a patio area which is small but has some shade. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve ordered here each time I’ve come and will continue to come back.

Great food, excellent service and surprisingly no wait time Sunday morning, with a packed building.

First of all I have been a customer of the pancake house for yearssss the host is obviously racist she sat all the colored people in the back dining room when there was plenty of open seats in the front dining room she made the mistake of letting us see the seating chart when we could clearly see there was plenty of spots available and when I said colored ppl I didn’t just mean black I meant anybody with a touch of melanin or brown
