Stood at the counter for over 5 minutes. I was never acknowledged even though there were 4 people working behind the counter. I finally gave up and left.
Today I stopped by this Starbucks in Burnsville hoping to get a simple black coffee. I explained politely that I was going through a difficult financial time and only had $2. I wasn’t asking for anything fancy—just a black coffee. Unfortunately, the response I received felt dismissive and unkind, and it left me feeling embarrassed, shamed.
Coffee is my comfort and a reminder of home. I grew up drinking coffee my mother made from ground beans, and it’s something very meaningful to me, especially during hard times. I understand prices and store policies, but kindness and humanity should still matter. A little compassion can make a big difference in someone’s day.coffee is a very powerful tool and smells good to people who knows the feeling and value of coffee. Please share and be kind to others.
Let me start this with I drink a lottt of coffee. I get the same thing for the last 8 years. I placed a mobile order. Waited 10 mins in the drive thru, with 3 cars in front of us, totally fine. Get our drinks, mine looks off in color, I taste it and yup it’s not right. That’s fine, but my fiancé went in to ask them to make it right because it tastes only like milk. The girl clearly did not want to remake it and tried to not have to, but he pushed saying it tastes like straight milk. She then rudely tells him it’s gonna be a while. What do you mean it’s gonna be a while?? Oh we found out. She then proceeds to keep only making drinks for the drive thru for the next 20 minutes. I wish I was kidding. Then the coffee she gives us still isn’t right tastes burnt and bitter and has a bunch of coffee grounds in it?? For an espresso drink? Never again will I be back. Be better.

I don’t understand why people say this Starbucks is “bad.” Every time I come here, the staff is working hard, staying professional even when it’s extremely busy. Drinks are made with care, orders are explained clearly, and the team keeps moving instead of panicking under pressure.
People forget this is a high-volume store, not a slow café. Mistakes happen anywhere, but what matters is that the baristas here try to fix issues, stay respectful, and keep the line moving. If you want perfection, be patient and treat workers like humans. This team deserves way more credit than they get.

Honestly, I don’t get the hate this Starbucks gets. Every time I’ve come in, the workers have been incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. You can tell they’re doing their best even when it’s busy or stressful, especially when they have crabby people yelling in their face, and that deserves recognition. It feels like a place where the staff genuinely care about customers, which makes a huge difference. I think this location is really misunderstood the people here are wonderful, and that’s what keeps me coming back. ☕️💚

A lady with glasses on served us hot coffee and when I politely asked for cup sleeves, she rudely replied back saying they don’t have any and Starbucks don’t provide it and shut the window on drive through.
However, another guy was helpful to provide us extra cup so that my hand wouldn’t burn. Such a bad experience! I would never come back with this rude behavior in this location.

Incredibly rude employee. I love Starbucks but have never been to this one. I was in the area and put in a pick up order for just a coffee. It said it would be ready at 8:04. When it was 8:15 and no drinks had been put on the counter while I waited, I asked the barista- “excuse me, do you have a drink for xxx?” And she rolled her eyes, refused to look at me and told me there were a lot of drinks. Ok. Noted. She was stressed, no need to treat customers like that.

Very disappointing came in at 6 o’clock, and they had already put away all the food that was in the glass case they pretty much ignored us forgot my husband’s drink place was out of sort. . Didn’t like it. Very disappointing won’t come again.
