We found this venue a year ago. We liked it however we couldn't recall what we disliked. It all came back. The burgers are sold as medium rare or pink unless requested. We asked for medium rare. We got well done. You someone who likes medium rare, there is nothing worse than having a well done dried out burger. Otherwise we like the place, its clean,the drinks were good.

Worth a stop to see the unique decor alone. I didn't order food,, but did get some beer to go. $14 for a six pack of Castle Danger Stout is a bit steep, but given the remote location and how far it is to drive to a liquor store, I can't complain too loudly. Selection of to go adult beverages is very limited.

Server was wonderful! I was trying to modify a sandwich to fit my dietary needs and she suggested a salad with chicken on top with an apple type dressing. The whole thing was AWESOME! Everyone at our table was pleased and my husband gave her a $7.00 tip! A lot for him. The chef came out, we talked. Nice touch and I loved her honesty. ?

I haven't been to the VRT since I was 8 or 9 when my brothers would bring me there. I was just there for the Celebration of Life for a long time regular Harvey. The service was still fabulous for being as busy as it was, we had a potluck there after the service. The staff was so friendly and outgoing. Just loved all the decor. Can't wait to come back! Must stop even if it's for one but I'm sure you'll stay for more, they treat you like family!

Had the Buyck Burger. The size of the burger was what perfect however, the burger was under cooked ... or better still not cooked at all. The burger was frozen in the inside. Health department requires the use of a thermometer to be sure that the food is safe and cooked. This definitely didn't happen. A burger, pop, and potato chips $21 plus a tip $25! I want to honor our local establishments but at this cost I can't afford to go out to eat too often.
