Rated #3 restaurant in Cambridge; if that's true I pity them. Went on a slow Sunday morning and won't be back. Authentic Mexican food isn't that complicated and yet they managed to put the ingredients together poorly. I had a bowl which didn't match the menu well and was a soggy mess the last 1/3. My wife had a fajita which was unremarkable. On top of that the servers didn't seem to care when we needed help and I got our own booster seats.

We went to Chapala on a bingo night and the atmosphere was really fun. The wait staff was so attentive, replacing drinks quickly. It was my daughter's birthday and they brought out the sombrero to sing happy birthday. The food was delicious Mexican fare. Friendly staff, and locally owned.

Although the fajitas tasted good, when it came, it didn’t look very appealing. The beef, pork, shrimp, onions, etc., was all mixed together and slapped on the plate.

My taco salad with ground beef was like no other I have had. Very little lettuce and it was all floating in watered down refried beans mixed with a little ground beef. I barely ate any of it.
