We've enjoyed stopping for dinner at Leader on our way to Lake Country from the cities. The service and meals have been great! The meat and fish is always so delicious and well prepared, and the dishes are homey but creative! So glad to have a nice spot in Cambridge to enjoy - we will keep coming back to this gem. Love the history too.

We went to Leaders to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect spot for the occasion. We sat at the bar as a family and had a front-row seat to the kitchen staff in action—such a fun and energizing atmosphere! The food, as always, was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the staff—they were super friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. Leaders continues to be one of our favorite places to dine. Can’t wait to go back!

Staff was friendly and attentive. The decor was fresh and relaxed. All the tables were full, but space seemed adequate and noise level was managed, easy to talk and hear conversation. The food was unique, beautifully presented, and delicious. Everything arrived a perfect temperature and thought was given to details. Enjoyed our visit. Will recommend to others and return.

We had the 9 cheese mac and cheese and an order of fries. Absolutely the best mac and cheese we have ever had! Dipping the fries in the cheese sauce was a great combination. We will definitely be back.

Surprisingly modern, delicious & fun for being in the middle of Cambridge! The whole restaurant has an open, inviting atmosphere with a kitchen bar, coffee shop and attached gift store. As a vegan, there was one salad that I was able to eat, the Merry & Bright, and it was pretty tasty. What I enjoyed more was the lavender latte I ordered before and savored while enjoying the whole mood. I ended up getting a second chai latte to- go so I had something delicious to sip while shopping the gift store. While I wouldn’t say this is a spot for vegans, it’s certainly a great stop just for the experience, especially given the area.

It was the worst walleye cake I ever had in the world
Been going here for many years, 2-3 times a month, and have to say it is our fav place to sit, have a drink, a great meal and chat with the team at the counter seats. Everything is hand made, made to order and well curated. All are amazing and so focused on great food and experience. Love them all...Cheers!!!!

Been here 10+ times and will be my last. This time was definitely different. The hostess was super nice and said she’d come get us when our tables ready. The next time I see her she’s asking me if I want a table for one. Then I said table for two. I said, “You said you’d find me 20 minutes ago” . Then she remembered and assured me it would be 5 mins or less. I then walk outside to put the things I’ve purchased from the store in my car and come back in and she asks me how many? Then remembers o ya I saw you one second ago. Terrible hostess. I’d fire her. She’s probably very obviously and needs no description physically. The bad memory is obvious enough. She’s young. Now about the service. The table of 4 that ordered after us was served before us. No big deal. But when the food got into our bodies it was immediately followed with diarrhea. Throughout the night. Never going back. It’s too expensive for almost everything on the menu as well.

It is ALWAYS too noisy. Need to muffle to the sound!!! Food was good but not HOT just warm. 2/14/25... front door opens a blast of cold air go though. This cause the food to be cool. Had return a steak as center was cold. The sever ask to put it on plate and took it back to kitchen. By leaving the original plate of food it got Cold waiting for the steak to be bit on grill. As the food come out cool in first the first place this was sad! The seafood chower was like can tomato soup with over cook lobster, tasteless shimp and scallop and shedded crab. I so hope that they will get better at service and food quality!
