Great food. Sloan was an excellent server with suggestions that made it easy to choose. The salad bar had great choices and my entree was awesome.

The pasta is terrible. It is like they don't drain your noodles before plating and saucing up. The Alfredo sauce was terrible tasing also. It was a mix between Alfredo and Pesto, Bad. Had to send both pastas back and order something else. We had 7 in our party. Salad and soup bar was great. The rest of the food was amazing. Do not recommend the pasta.

Part time rv’rs. Never been to the lakes region and decided to go on a last minute trip in late October and after finding believe it or not northern Minnesota closes down after labor day and through a good friend’s recommendation and contact ended up at Stoney Point. All I can say is wow! I can’t wait to go back when it’s “open”. Thanks again for accommodating a couple of lost Texans. 100% recommend for a great resort stay.

Busy night, but they got our party of 11 seated fairly fast. Everyone enjoyed their food. Will eat there again.

Got the walleye tacos and they did not disappoint. Staff was very kind, but the bar staff may be a bit inexperienced (ran into some trouble when ordering a regular daiquiri). Vegetarian options are also quite limited (apps + alfredo w/ veggies).

Multiple orders of food came out cold; with one getting chicken that wasn’t fully cooked. Food was mediocre at best. Great atmosphere and location…poor execution.

Food was delicious. Server tried her hardest but I think the bartender kept messing her up. Best salad bar within 2 miles. Gorgeous setting

We were really looking forward to spending time here with our grandkids. My disabled Veteran and my self just retired after 31 years of military so we recently bought a camper to explore the US. Anyways I called in February to make a reservation for June and they said they do not book weekend campers until April 1st. So first thing April 1st I called and they said they only had 2 spots left, so we booked it. So now we made it to the weekend and we checked in they told us our spot 113. This was a joke. The spot was smaller than my driveway, on a corner, next to the office, restaurant, and activity center. It was also next to the dump site. (makes for eating extra special). We had to have the workers back our camper in. So needless to say our grandkids really couldn't be outside not could we for that matter. We then tried to make the best of it made it to Sunday. I went to check out and they said I owed $68 more for the 3 grandkids (2 seven year olds and a 2 year old) and 2 small dogs. This place is packed in like sardines and they cater more to the people that return year after year. They save their spots for them so it leaves people like us who just started camping in the crappy spots. I would think twice about going here. it is not relaxing, not really a good camping experience and very expensive.

Crowded, expensive, hostile management. 1. Pay $330 a night for a cabin and you still have to pay$25 to use the pool. 2. Campsites are narrow and short. Access roads are also narrow. Packed in like sardines. 3.. You can’t have your boat in your campsite so you either have to rent a slip or park it in a spot up near the highway. If you have any expensive items in your boat they are easy pickings. 4. Talked to one individual who didn’t want to leave his expensive boat a 1/4 mile away so brought it to his campsite. Management came and told him to move it or they would have his truck and boat towed. Friendly place. He was pulling out 2 days early. 5. They advertise “bait” … night crawlers, no minnows. You have to drive into Cass Lake for that. 6. With so many campers jammed into the resort, it is solid people, people, people everywhere. A ton of golf carts and side by sides running around. This is not the place for fishermen or anyone wanting to get away from the maddening crowds. A total zoo
