We hired them to cater the rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. The food far exceeded our expectations and Andrea was exceptional! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and we are so grateful! We will definitely recommend Jake’s on the Lakes to all of our friends.

Stopped after a day out on our way home. Hubby had Brisket melt and I had Walleye Poboy. We started with a Cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup. The soup had the most flavor out of all the dishes. It was homemade with a lovely texture and flavor.
Walleye PoBoy lacked flavor. I love walleye but it was bland, poached and the sauce was nothing to write home about. Brisket melt was over powered with Bacon and peppers. Brisket was thinly sliced but no flavor. Wondering if the chef is afraid of spice to enhance his dishes.
We had high hopes but would recommend another restaurant down the road.

We ended up here because The Northern was packed and we had been in the car for 3 hours. This place wasn’t very busy at all. We weren’t sure what to expect. Honestly we were pleasantly surprised. My husband’s fish was great and my burger was delicious! Gluten free buns a definite +++ We had a great server!

We had a server who was amazing! We were a party of 10, later joined by 2 small children, and she kept everything flowing perfectly! Even when she dropped a plate (not at all her fault) she took it in stride and got it handled. The food here is good, a little limited on breakfast selections, but the service was perfection. Unexpected, and so appreciated!

We decided to try this place for the first time on a Sunday night, about an hour before kitchen close and they were extremely short staffed. We walked in and were seated on the patio right away. There was probably only 10 tables with guests so, it didn't seem too busy compared to just the two of us just being seated.
That being said, we ordered drinks right away and they brought them out within minutes of the order being placed. We then ordered food and expected to order another round of drinks before the food was served but they brought the food out in probably 15 minutes. Phenomenal!!
The staff was super friendly and timely. We recommend the Fried Walleye Butes, Bacon Jam Burger and their Old Fashioned is really good. We will definitely get dinner here again!

Nice restaurant to eat at with the family. The food. I have had has been really good. Service was really good. It's not a huge place but it has a beautiful view of the lake.
Beautiful patio and the food was fantastic! Omlettes were amazing and hashbrowns were nice and crispy! The pork ends were top notch. Bloody mary was spicy and delicious! Great service. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and ended up staying for two hours thanks to Brody, easily one of the best bartenders we’ve had in a long time. Great conversation, super attentive, and made the whole experience a 180 from our last visit. Service was slow the last time we were in but this time everything was on point. Food was delicious and the vibe was just right. Thanks for turning it around, Brody. We’ll be back!
