Food was pretty decent for an Italian restaurant - everything tasted reslly fresh. We had the calamari, then my husband ordered some pasta while I had ravioli. A little overpriced from what I've seen, but I think the worst was how the owner was very passive and never acknowledged our table despite acknowledging the other tables around us. I don't want to make assumption but that's pretty rude. That alone was what made the stars drop a bit. If you want a romantic date night, it may be your place, if you don't mind the rude owner.

This place is always amazing. Anyone that has given this place bad reviews doesn't know what real Italian food is. Period. If you live in Champlin you are lucky to have this in your back yard.

I hesitate to recommend this restaurant because I want to keep this wonderful secret as long as possible. If you love Italian food and have not been here, it's time to try it. The restaurant is owned by a man who came from Italy with family recipes, and it shows in the care he takes with every dish, and also in the pride of the wait staff. The people are as good as the food is, the services fast but not rushed and every bite is an experience. When the strip I had lasagne, and other guests had pasta Di Mare, seafood spaghetti. Both are wonderful. The daily specials are incredible, ranging from surf and turf to a veal porterhouse. The tiramisu is flown in from Sicily. No kidding. Everything here is amazing.

Recommended dishes: Manicotti, Cannoli, Tiramisu Cake

It seems to have become a tradition for my husband and I to eat here for our anniversary, and as always, it did not disappoint. From the incredible service and exceptional quality of food to the great ambiance and wine selection, I highly recommend checking this place out!

A beautiful venue with excellent Italian food! My favorite part is when the owner and head chef comes out to greet guests. If you are craving authentic Italian food, this is the place to go! Thank you to Buena Sera for always providing an unforgettable culinary experience.Parking: There are limited spots for parking, so I recommend arriving a little early so your not scrambling to find a spot to meet your reservation time.Kid-friendliness: I find this option as more of an option for ladies night out, celebrations, and dinner dates. Teenagers will likely find things in the menu they enjoy, but not really a venue for young children.

The cutest Italian restaurant, in a small house. The ambiance is just so enjoyable. The food is even better! And the service is impeccable, the owner came out to our table to ensure we were enjoying our time. 10/10!

The food is great. We enjoy the ambient although it can be loud at times because is a small restaurant. Not for people that are looking for a quiet, intimate place to have dinner. The food is worth it.

This was our first time visiting. There were no reservations left, but when we called, they said they would be sure to have a table for us!We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, rack of lamb, pasta limon, tomato basil soup, and espresso creme brulee. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch! We cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!!

What a place! Hidden gem and worth the drive if you are not from the area. Everything from start to finish was amazing. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts. It all was fabulous! To have the actual Chef/owner come to your table to check in is unheard of now. Small, very intimate dining so we felt very comfortable and cozy. Our server was top notch and was on top of everything. We will definitely go back and bring new guests to the location.
