We stopped in for breakfast at Hudy’s, and everything was absolutely delicious! I had Melissa’s Eggs Benedict, and it was cooked perfectly—rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The coffee was fantastic, and it kept coming, thanks to Randy, who made sure our cups were always full.

Our waitress was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel so welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and you can tell they really care about their guests.

We’ll definitely be back soon—Hudy’s is a new favorite spot for breakfast! ☕🍳✨

Friendly staff, nice place, great breakfast with so many options! Price is reasonable. Hidden walking path behind the place was great for after breakfast. We enjoyed our time at Hudys and we will be back again!

We had chicken fried steak and the French toast fritter. The apple fritter taste was very mild, there was a nice cinnamon taste. Over all good. The country fried steak and hash browns and eggs came with sausage gravy. Loads of sausage in the gravy. Our server was on top of our coffee top offs.

Great place, I cannot rate the food other than to say it was well prepared. Unfortunately I will not be eating here again because the food is prepared with vegetable oil. My diet is free of vegetable oil because it is unhealthy. I have had it out of my diet for more than 5 years. I did eat a meal and an hour or so after eating it I became quite groggy and bloated with quite a headache. I also experienced hot flashes and got quite sweaty and an unwanted visit to the bathroom a few more hours after eating dew to cramping in my lower gut. This only happens to me when I eat food prepared with vegetable oil. I should have asked my server but assumed (bad on me not the restaurant) that this is a real cafe that would be old fashioned. By that I mean cooking everything in lard, butter, or beef tallow. I called the restaurant later that day to find out what was used for cooking and I was told canola oil. This is vegetable oil. The food, in and of its self, was good but the vegetable oil made it unpalitable for me and I foolishly ignored the signs I was starting to feel but was so in the moment of being in your restaurant. Felt like Grandma's. ❤️ I should have known when I was eating it because the familiar taste was there. I just wanted to enjoy the experience because I love the atmosphere here. I did not eat anything the rest of the day as I found myself fixed to the couch with what I call a food hangover and the desire to eat again was the farthest thing away from me lol. Anyway I love the place just can't eat the food.😞

Just went here for breakfast and they said they opened at 9:00. We got there at 9:00 and waited outside their doors until 9:15, and even tried to call their number. No answer. Even though on their website, and on their door in person it said they were open. They had their doors off, lights off and no one there. We got tried of waiting for it up open, and at that point we didn’t know if they were going to open..we ended up going somewhere different. They lost our business, probably won’t try to go back there again.

If you’re looking for breakfast in Champlin, you found it.
