I feel kind of bad rating this place 3 stars. However, it is pricey and you really have to go in KNOWING your kid will be occupied for at 2 hours (which is the time limit). My daughter doesn't prefer it for more than an hour, so it's not worth the money for me. It also takes a bit to sign up if you are coming for the first time. You need to sign a waiver and all of that, and that holds up the line for people waiting to get in. I love the interior and think it's so cute! I just wish my daughter liked it a bit more and I wish it was a little cheaper or had a little better service.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. The place is tiny. There's only 6 little storefronts, a connect 4 game and a baby area. They also charge adults to be here. Will not be returning.

Such a fun imaginative play space for infants and toddlers! I have been here a couple times now and I absolutely love it ❤️ they also make sensory bins for you to purchase and bring home. There is a quiet/sensory room if your child gets overwhelmed too. All around wonderful place!ps their drinks are fantastic and the staff are amazing!

I love going here with my toddler. It's such a fun and interactive environment for her. The staff keep it clean and make sure everyone is following the rules (which is rare at play places usually). The coffee is really good too!!

We love bringing our kiddos here! Dramatic play is one of their favorite things to do, so the play cafe unlocks an incredible amount of creativity for them.I’ve only had coffee and a smoothie one time here but they were both good! The staff is very helpful, recently my son hurt his toe and they provided a bandaid and in the same visit I came to find my boyfriend had been dipping into the diaper bag stash of pull-ups so they were gracious and provided a diaper! We could probably play here for half the day and it still wouldn’t be long enough!

My daughter LOVES this place and never wants to leave before our two hours are up. She loves playing make believe in each of the little shops/areas and everything is set up so creatively. I cannot recommend this place enough, a must-visit for toddler and preschool aged kids in the MG area.

I am so grateful this place exists. Especially in Minnesota, we need indoor places where kids can get wiggles out. However, this is definitely a “special occasion” place for us for a few reasons:- it’s spendy. Kids under six months are free, but that’s it. You pay for all other humans + food and beverage (but thankfully they have coffee!!)- they don’t open until 8:30 on weekends (which pre-kids, I thought was early!). In my dream world, they’d open a little earlier, since my family hits the ground running around 6 every day!

Ok for small kids under 6 years old if you want to give them a space for imaginative play. Small space so easy to do a play date with other kids/parents. Hard to justify the cost (paying for parents to sit and watch) and did not like the strict 2 hr play limit.

Best place to come get some work done while your child plays. Or even better play with them :). Very clean and sanitized!

We had a great time at the Minisota Play Cafe! We spent 2 wonderful hours there where my daughter used her imagination in all the little storefronts. She loved the market, the music area, the fire station, and the cozy cabin. It was neat to see her use her imagination: she found blue blocks and was pretending they were water sprayers for the fire. In the cabin, she was using the wood slices as “big cookies.” So fun! This is like a mini version of the Children’s Museum without having to go downtown. I think it’s an awesome concept! We didn’t have a chance to order any food or drinks, but the menu looked good. We’ll try something next time we come!

Great place for young children to play in clean fun environment. Great coffee if looking for a place to pick up a coffee or tea drink. They also have Honey and Mackie ice cream that is delicious.

My kids and I have been AVID play cafe attendees for a couple of years now and they LOVE it. I love being able to get a coffee and know that my kids can free play within a certain space and not worry about safety, cleanliness, or them getting bored. I would love if there was a way for parents to be free but that is my only critique! LOVE this space!

We love MiniSota Play Cafe. I have hosted 2 birthday parties, and my son attends music class there every Wednesday. The staff is AWESOME! They made our parties so memorable. Not only great staff but a super clean and open area for children to play! Highly recommend for play, music class and parties!

My toddler and I always have a great time! He loves the food/grocery area. I love how open it is now with their newest layout. We plan on trying the ice cream next time.
