The bartender was very friendly and knowlegable.
Great service received from Ashton L. at this location. Potstickers were delicious and the rest of the food others in our party ordered was very good as well. Love this place!
We sat down on a Saturday at 5 , not very busy. The music was so loud the server had to keep asking us to repeat our order. We asked if they could turn the music down, but no change. We moved to another spot but the music was also so loud we could not have a conversation. The table next to us must have thought the same thing, because they were shouting. Drinks were 2 for 1 so that was good. The Nachos came burnt, no salso so they were pretty dry. We skipped dinner and left after thqt.
The food is delicious, great portion sizes. I had the mac n cheese with italian sausage and my spouse had the stir fry. Can't say enough about it, so good. The service is fast and friendly. Prices are good.
Have given this place many opportunities to win me over. The bad out weigh the good so this is not my first option when I'm looking for a good meal in Champlin. Sometimes the food will be good, other times cold, wait service is the same way. They do offer some good daily specials but those once again are hit and miss.
We just got home from willie McCoy’s and it was pretty bad. Tables were dirty and just sat there dirty the whole time we ate lunch. No staff wanted to clean anything when they could just stand around by the bar and gossip. We were directed to a booth which was gross. It had crumbs all over the table, it was sticky and clearly unkept. Although there was no one in the place the tables just sat there filthy and what’s worse our food took over an hour to get. Irritating. One of the women at the table went to the restroom where the stalls had poop everywhere On the floor so feces is tracked throughout the restaurant. Disgusting. I don’t recommend. Willie McCoys = irritating and filthy, not a pleasant dining experience.
I enjoy Willy's very much. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good, the patrons are friendly. Pulltabs are great. Nice large bar that seats many people.
Happy Hour! 4 pm! 2 for 1! Waitstaff was patient and helpful. Food was delish. The more it filled the more my intimate conversation ended. It got too loud for the type of friends out that I was having. We’d stayed a long time and the change was appropriate. No complaints!
If they beer prices look high, remember, they are two for one. They have a good selection of beers on tap. I had the Hawaiian Cheese Curd Flatbread. It was very good. It was a little spicy, great cheese and just the right amount of ham.
Love the half price burger day on Mondays. Great value!! The waffle fries are also a must try with seasoned sour cream.

Stopped by Sunday mid afternoon for late lunch and to watch the Vikings play. This is a great local hangout, lots of tv's to watch the game. Lots of seating and great food. Service provided today by Sam was great. Also have outdoor patio open during the warmer months. Bbq beef brisket on the was excellent. Will definitely return for future meals.
Great place to stop & celebrate Friday night, or a happy hour after work. Always 2 for 1 drink specials, great apps, good food. Friendly wait staff. Their whiskey ginger sauce is awesome, on green beans, in stir fry, on pot stickers, etc!! They have a back party room for rent, & a larger rental room for weddings, etc. Patio in the summer is great.
Big place with a good menu. Most items are $10-12 Good service. Patio with a bar that is pet friendly. Live music on patio on Thursday nights, weather permitting.
I wish you could have tasted the Willy McCoy's fare when they had but one location. They took such care to detail and presentation. The food was actually fresh and downright delicious. It's been a while (7 months) since our last visit but we came with decent expectations. As a party of six 4 of us had been there several times over the past years. For 2 this was the first time. The fish and chips might as well have Van Camps. Industrial and tasteless. The jambalaya was sauced with Buffalo wing sauce. The teriyaki rice bowl was drenched with a sauce so harsh that it was less than half eaten. Fajitas.....please do not waste you time. The rice was dry and stiff and the meat so chewy it was spit out. (Note.. head down to Acapulco for Mexican) When a restaurant gets big... they get commercial. Inferior product and tired food. As I said.... it's time to say good-bye. I should also mention. The tables of the people who left 30 minutes before we did just sat uncleaned. It was just plain gross.
Stopped in for lunch with a colleague. The menu is typical sports bar type foods, but the food is tasty. Wait staff was prompt and attentive throughout the meal. Food suggestions by our server were solid choices and her advice was good. This is a good option for lunch in the Champlin area.
