Visited last week to get brats and was completely ignored at first. Then when I was helped finally The cowboy brats were amazing though so no complaints there.Went there today and was greeted in the same unfriendly manner as last time. I’ve had to say hi to the workers first both times now because they seem to just stare blankly at you when walking inThe guy who wrapped my jerky didn’t have gloves on and literally ripped off a piece of jerky and was eating it while weighing mine out. Never seen that before. Next, I ask for 2 lbs of ground beef and -without gloves again- he full on rubs/itches his eye for a few seconds with his hand then proceeds to grab the ground beef to weigh it out without grabbing gloves or washing hands.I won’t be back to this location as I don’t feel welcome and it doesn’t seem like correct sanitary food handling protocols are being followed

This is by far the best von Hanson’s around. They always have the biggest selection of fresh brats, the staff are very friendly and eager to help as soon as you walk in the door. The customer service here is outstanding. The store is always well stocked, clean and organized. I have never had a bad experience coming to the champlin Von hansons

I always leave this shop feeling like I somehow inconvenienced the workers there. I’d rather shop somewhere that doesn’t make me feel like I’m begging for free food. Plus their ribeyes usually look either extremely lean, or very oxidized

I went to Von Hanson meats today. I asked for some pork steaks. The guy went back to cut it. I asked how many he had for me and his reply was "1" he said it's good size but had it wrapped before i could see it. I thaught it would be enough for 2 people. I unwrapped it to make dinner and after i cut the inch thick and wide of fat all down the side and off the top portion i cut 1 1/2 inches off, it was enough for 1 person!!i will never go back there.

I The young lady really didn't want me to be there. I admit it was 10 minutes before closing. She didn't show me the steak before wrapping it up. I was told I had to pay with a card. Which isn't a big deal unless you tell the other customer they can pay in cash. When I opened it up, the steak was dry. So dry it was almost leathery on the outside. The rest of the employees acted like this was business as usual.

Eveytime I come here the staff is super friendly and helpful nick even made us some juicy Lucy's!
