I’ve been going to this location for awhile now everyday. I get the same drink everyday. Mupltiple times now they have messed up my drink. The first time they blamed me for how I ordered. They said I should clarify that I wanted raspberry instead of blue raspberry, which in my opinion is pretty much common sense. If I wanted BLUE I would have said blue. I now order my drink how they told me too. But they still can’t get it right. Today they messed up my drink. When I go back to get new one they sounded so fake and at the window when we were tying to hand back the bad drink she woudlnt take it and was rude about it. yesterday they couldn’t figure out how to use my rewards so I ended up leaving and they took my points and I got no drink. Today was my last time coming to this location. Which is only 2 minutes away from my house. I paid 9 dollars for terrible service and the wrong drink. ( kept in mind I work in the food industry) .

I’ll preface with I used to manage a very busy Caribou location in another part of the Minneapolis metro, so I’m not some rando who has never worked in fast food/customer service.

Until recently, had you asked me about this Caribou location, I would have highly recommended it, 5 stars. That changed when the management changed.

The old manager knew my name, knew my car on the video feed when I pulled up, knew my order (I always order the same thing), always was very happy to see me, would ask me how I was (I feel genuinely), and always made sure my order was right. Recently the management changed. I gave the new manager time to adjust, because I know it’s hard, but nothing has gotten better.

The new manager is fake nice and does not have manners. They are condescending while taking orders and at the window, and does not allow me to finish stating my drink before asking what is next. Which again, I always get the same drink and am there nearly every week day at the same time.

Lately I have also been ordering a breakfast sandwich. I don’t know how this is possible since the ovens have preprogrammed buttons, but somehow the bread is almost always burnt on top and now most of the time I unwrap my sandwich to find that it is lopsided like a Jenga tower that fell over or the leaning tower of Pisa.

With the new manager, came a new employee. I don’t think they are new to the company but new to the location. And they are just as bad. They have also argued with me over asking for my drink to be remade. I almost never ask for things to be remade and instead of just remaking it, they decided to come to the drive thru window to tell me it was right when it wasn’t. The drink I get? Iced chai with almond milk. So it’s not a complicated drink and takes about 30 seconds to make properly (including shaking which they don’t do the majority of the time now here)…

The rest of the employees, I still adore, and feel like with most of the morning crew I have a good customer/worker relationship. But I’m just about fed up with this location now and am considering going to the other Chaska Caribou without the drive thru due to my repeated recent bad experiences.

I've visited multiple locations. This location I definitely wasn't feeling welcomed. The service was crap. I asked for the manager and the person whom took my order was polite at all. The team member,the one that was making the drinks was drowning in orders and the manager wasn't a team player at all. Purple hair. So when I left the location I made it be known to the crew member that was making drinks that she was doing great. The manager on the other hand was polite at all!

At Carabou now, there is one manager and two very new trainees working so service is very understandably slow. The store was busy and this manager just barked condescending orders and kept snapping his fingers at them instead of showing/teaching. He kept yelling about service and times. I’d rather wait longer and have the proper drinks made than listen to this guy berate the two trainees. These poor kids were on the verge of tears. Shame on this guy. This wasn’t leadership. Caribou should reevaluate who they have representing their stores.
