There needs to be an option for zero stars. I’ve had a terrible experience with E&M Consulting regarding their refusal to remove my email from their database. Despite multiple separate requests to stop their sales emails, I still receive three emails per day, which is excessive and disruptive to my workday. Most days, the first two emails usually arrive before 9 AM, making it even more frustrating.

When I brought this up to Lexy, she essentially called me a liar, saying, “That is odd you receive 3 a day… I was checking for duplicate accounts under your company name and I do not see any.” To prove my point, I forwarded her an email I had received just two hours before her response which included yet another request to remove my email, but the dismissive tone was uncalled for.

Lexy claims to have removed our entire account, but time will tell if they actually stop the emails. Additionally, their emails lack an unsubscribe option, and there’s no clear way to manage preferences on their website. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for my requests led to our decision to cease working with them permanently.

If you value your time and sanity, avoid E&M Consulting.

SPAMMER. Company sends out emails that violate the US Can SPAM act and have no unsubscribe option. Their emails also violate Texas law on spam email. Asking them to stop emailing is ignored. Complaining to the association they are working for seems to do no good. A marketing company that flouts the law on marketing is a liability and should be avoided.

Sent me a cold email for services I didn’t need. There was no option to unsubscribe, so I think they are an unprofessional business. I wouldn’t trust them to print a flyer for a fifth grade dance.

Company purchased my information from the Museum Store Association and regularly spams me at not one but 2 email addresses. The way I would expect removal to work is I click a "remove me" link, and I receive no further emails. The way it actually works is I remove myself, and some genius adds me back to the next mailing. I've removed myself from the following marketing lists (starting over 1 year ago). "2019 Museum Store Association Membership Directory 9-12-18" "6-10-19 Museum Store Association" "The 2019 Museum Store Association Membership Directory is Underway!" The last email I got was today - 9/24 The last phone call I got was today - 9/24 I am not sure what is so difficult about complying with CAN-SPAM and DO NOT CALL list. Letting people opt-out of your (poor) marketing seems like a no brainer - unfortunately this cockroach of a company is seems unable to do so.... Read More

IASA has used E&M since 2014 to print our annual membership directory and our experience from day 1 has been that they are extremely easy to work with. I've worked with several E&M staff members over the years and each one provides exceptional customer service and is committed to providing a quality publication. The process is seamless! Prior to 2014, we spent a significant amount of money to produce our directory and now it's FREE which allows us to provide other services to our members that we wouldn't have been able to do otherwise! I would definitely recommend E&M to produce any of your publications. You simply can't go wrong with them!
