The drink was terrible, I didn't finish it. The Hermosa burrito was bland. The server didn't speak English, and the floor was dirty. I tried it. But I don't know what all the hype is about.

tl;dr: This was my first time eating here. Food was excellent and exactly as ordered. Service was very good, but I didn't expect to have to ask for chips at the table. Atmosphere was fine, but the back of the booth seat was broken where I sat and there was food and silverware on the floor next to me the entire time I was at the restaurant with neither employee who walked near me giving it a second look.
Details:
I was surprised to see they don't have very many burrito options, but I just ordered the standard burrito and customized it by removing the pico de gallo and adding the three meat option (not mentioned on their website). I was also surprised to see how the burrito was served. It came wrapped in paper and cut in half. This is different from most Mexican restaurants, but it tasted excellent. I will mention that the way it was served did make it seem like less food that I would normally get at other Mexican restaurants for the same price.
The service was very good, but again, at other similar restaurants, I'm used to chips and salsa just being brought to the table without asking. When I was seated, I was asked what I wanted to drink and then the server walked away to get it. When she came back to ask what I wanted to eat, I had to ask about the free chips and salsa, but she did bring them over after that and they were very good.
The atmosphere overall was fine. Unfortunately, the booth I chose to sit in had a broken seat back which was uncomfortable. Additionally, on the floor next to me just to the side of the walkway, there was some spilled food and dirty silverware. I could understand if it had just fallen and a staff member would clean it up right away, but I was at the restaurant for over half an hour and no one gave it a second look. Staff walked past it multiple times, and the restaurant was not busy. There weren't more than 5 other tables of people the whole time I was there.
All in all, great food, albeit slightly smaller portions, and I will plan to go back.

Food was OK, serving sizes were OK. Gave two stars food lacking flavor. Flavor of the grocery store frozen Mexican dinners were more developed than what we received. My friend a bartender wasn't impressed by their margaritas, said he would be surprised if tequila was in it. My other friend Mexican and enjoys finding new restaurants stated that the food also was liking authentic flavor. Chips seemed to be a little stale. Let's just say if you think ketchup is spicy you'll probably going to love this place.
We ate out on the patio which was really clean and nice, some road noise but that's not their fault.
Service was extremely slow. Took forever to receive the chips and salsa. To be fair I believe the server was new, and they had a new ordering electronic device they used. It was good to be able to pay table side. I ordered a soft drink due to an issue with the soda fountain it didn't arrive on the table till after the food arrived. Also to be fair the fountain soda was very delicious, very fresh. Sometimes soda fountain drinks can have a funky flavor due to lack of cleaning, this was not the case. Too bad the food didn't have the flavor profile I was looking for in Mexican food. My friends only ordered one alcohol drink a piece, extremely not like them.

The gorditas are incredible meaty, crunchy, perfectly spiced for my taste, pockets of goodness. The salsas are very fresh and mildly spicy. Spices that really being out the flavors without overpowering them.

Food was ok but shrimp had tail left on it. Got food and then wasn't checked on for 20 minutes. When checked on we mentioned the shrimp and no apology was even given.

We order menudo and it tasted and looked about a week old. The service was also very bad. The manager told me it was better to cook at home when I told her the menudo was a week old. And she was very rude about the thing. Don’t waste your money here.

My favorite restaurant in Chaska. I take the family here about once a month, and honestly would prefer that it be more often! The food is great, the service is excellent, it's run by great people, and it's local.
