I wasn't blown away by this visit to Patron. We were seated upstairs in a half closed-down bar/party room on a Friday night. The cute "downstairs" of the restaurant wasn't full, yet we were taken upstairs where only one other table was seated, and they were on their way out. Then it was just us and the crew cleaning up and shutting down the bar. Weird. Lol. I will say that the hostess tried to seat us downstairs and then some manager dude told her to put us upstairs. Our waitress was very sweet and the food was tasty. Presentation was kinda sloppy ngl. My friend liked her food so much that she wants to go back, so we will, and hopefully we won't be shoved upstairs in the weird lonely bar/party room.

Main complaint is the food: its not bad but it's absolutely not good either.Chicken was bone dry, beans tasted metallic, and absolutely nothing was actually seasoned. It was boring, and more or less flavorless. Even the salsa was basically pepper free water. The rice was fine.The drinks are bad, though. I'm not entirely sure my margarita had alcohol in it at all. Staff are polite and timely, location is nice.Better to go 10 minutes away to Lagos Tacos, where you can get more food that's better prepared for the same price.
