Good beer and cool place
Wanted to like this brewery, but it failed on every level. The beer was flat (very little carbonation), and tasteless. My wife's seltzer was crazy sweet and undrinkable. $15 on two horrible drinks is a major let down. Our kids had very little to do in the gravel pits of Schram Haus. This place is forgettable, and not worth your time.
My wife and I stopped by after searching for a pet friendly brewery.
The business was clean, and the service was excellent.
We had a half Pretzel and the special which is a pizza with two beer. The pizza was good, the Pretzel was great and the beer was delicious.
Great to see the turn out for Goat Fest 2025. It was too busy and super long wait times in line to get a beer. Parking in the side ditch on Hwy 61/Chaska Blvd and the long walk up the hill was not ideal but it was because so many came out for this event so all is well, we have fun. Can't review the beers as the line was so long, never got one after paying the $15 admission. May try it again on a different day.
Super busy for goat fest, good beer and great pretzel
Schram Haus Brewery in Chaska is worth a stop. It is a big open industrial design with woods, metals, brick and high ceilings. Staff is friendly, music is good, they serve pizza and snacks and served 13 of their beers on tap for my stop. Beers included an IPA, DNEIPA, Fruited IPA, Cold IPA, Blonde, American Red, barrel aged sour, fruited sour, fruited hazy IPA, Dark lager, lager, pilsner, and a hefeweizen. They also have seltzers and sodas for non beer people. The taphouse has large garage doors that open for a nice view when the weather is nice. They have nightly specials, trivia nights, and bag league. Check it out.
Refused to serve me because my ID was out of state. I gave her my Florida ID, the same ID I've been using around the area & other bars for WEEKS. She told me I have to have a state issued ID & she wouldn't accept it because they're "cracking down," which I guess means visitors aren't allowed at this brewery. I understand they're tucked away but I didn't realize locals were the only ones welcomed.
Just kind of the best. Beautiful, great beer. What more are you looking for?
Good diversity of beers with seasonal offerings. Food includes pizza, (very) large pretzel, and others for those looking to do a lunch or dinner there. Usually has music or events worth checking out. Location includes indoor seating with tables for 6 and outdoors includes large picnic tables with umbrellas to spread out and enjoy the view over Chaska from the bluff
Beer is pretty good but was a little disappointed to buy a jar of the $8 We Are Nuts to take home only to find out when arriving home that the seal had already been ripped off the jar. Didn’t pay for a used jar of nuts.

Good beers and the pretzel wasn't bad either.
Great beer, great service and all around great vibe. Great place to just chill, have a beer and maybe play a board game or a game of corn hole. From Ohio and just happened to stumble on this place. Was well worth the stop.

Goat Fest Rocks!
Have now been here three times and it is consistently good. Wide enough selection for most tastes. From a sour to a wheat to pilsners to IPAs.Nice views across a valley and the staff is friendly.Rough drive up off the highway though! Need a little paving there.
