Nice spot by the river. A few pool tables and good sized dining area inside. Loaded cheese curds with bacon and jalapeños and well seasoned fries. Chicken wild rice is heavy with rice (it's good).

First time here and probably be the last. Had a work dinner party here. Only the 2 large tables of people got served. Waitress didn't even ask my table for drink orders we had to go to the bar on our own. When I asked to order food at 7:30pm on a Friday night was told the kitchen was no longer taking.orders. The bartender offered pizza when I asked her if the kitchen was really not taking orders so I at least got to eat something.

Ermagurd! I'm a wild rice soup critic and the server had mentioned the loaded potato soup was delicious too so I ordered both and both blew me away! And to totally mention the Asian sweet chili wings .. I'm a wing critic too they were perfectly crispy and that sauce man! If I can help it..I won't get my soup or wing fix anywhere else but the River Inn.. yummmm dude!
Our visit was absolutely gracious. The waitress was right on her game and the food delicious. Definitely will stop

We seated ourselves and waited. After 5 minutes a party of 6 came in. The waitress almost immediately took their order. We are still waiting for just a greeting. Waited another 5 minutes and decided to leave. The waitress walked by us on our way out with barely a glance. We then went to a nearby seat yourself restaurant. We were greeted in the first minute. Had our drinks in 5 and were eating in the same time spent waiting at the River Inn.
