I would have to say that this is truly my favorite restaurant! Definitely worth the hour drive from home. Absolutely delicious food and personable service makes this place #1 in my book! 🥰
Everything I’ve ever had is always delicious! Love when the chef/owner, Miha, makes his way around to tables making sure you’re enjoying your meal. Wait staff are kind and fun. Make a reservation to be sure you get a table especially around holidays or event nights. Enjoy!
Phenomenal service every time we have been there!! And don’t get me started on their food, it is SO delicious! If you have been on the edge about going here, I definitely recommend you do!
We decided to try Bait & Hook for my birthday dinner and I couldn't be happier with our decision. It all started with Alan (the bartender and our server). He was very personable and knowledgeable. The amazing chef brought me out a sample of the curry sauce so I could make sure I liked it before I ordered. It was perfect! So I ordered their halibut with rice, green beans & a coconut curry sauce. It was absolutely amazing! I cleaned my entire plate. My husband got the surf & turf. Hands down one of the best steak either of us have ever had. Cooked just perfect and every bite was so flavorful. Alan even brought us out a sample of their grits which is served with their salmon. Needless to say, we're going back just to try that dish. 10/10, highly recommend!
We dined at bait and hook on Thursday and Friday nights. Alisha was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is a beautiful setting. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious. A wonderful dining experience.

We thought we would give this place another go after a couple not so great experiences and were let down again..the smallest oysters I've ever had and don't get the Rockefeller they are horrid...wife had the "lobster and shrimp" mac and cheese but it had a bout 4 tiny pieces of shrimp and the lobster was non existent I had the ribs and they were some of the worst I've had...famous daves is better if that tells u anything...we sat outside hoping it would be a tad bit quieter boy were we wrong it was like a frat party out there the service was slow and poor as well...dont understand the draw here this was our 4th time there will not be a 5th.

Fish and chips tasteless, expensive. Worse clam chowder, watery and had no clams . Way too expensive!! I will never drive that far for that food .....

Food was very good, skip the oysters Rockefeller they are very small. Fish tacos were excellent, and the shrimp and grits were very good.

Went there for the first time, and wasn’t disappointed. The waiter was the best waiter we’ve had in a long time, we were celebrating my win in a golf tournament and the food was amazing. This will be on our to go to for a awesome meal and

Outstanding seafood in SW Minnesota. Prices are similar to Twin Cities fare but food quality is worth it.

Surprise find for us. Just happened to be driving through and we thought we'd try it out. Highly recommend. Delicious seafood offerings. I had chowder and the Fish & Chips, very good (even the fries were very crispy), my 8-year-old son ate most of the chowder after I offered him a taste... My wife had shrimp and grits and those were very good too, but did need a little more salt. My son had the coconut prawns and gobbled them up. It's about 45min drive for us, but we will plan more trips just to eat here again.
