Every. Single. Dish. Every. Single. Time. PERFECTION! Chef Miha is so talented, he and co-owner wife Alisha are gracious and welcoming. We end up starting to eat right away and seem to always forget to take a photo of the food. The sea bass, prime rib, salmon, appetizers, soup, salads, and dessert last night were all a 10/10. Lovely cocktails and great wine list. Staff are professional and attentive, a joy.
We are always happy to make the 2 hour drive to here because it is so worth it, AND love to bring new patrons with us.

We've been to most of the fancy (and expensive) steak houses in the cities, and the food here is perhaps the best we've had! Highly recommend the Ribeye! My only recommendation is to buy an espresso machine!

We had a great waitress she was very nice. We were all very disappointed in the portion size for the price. The ribs were so spicy we couldn’t eat them. Shrimp and grits we ordered and the shrimp was so over done and so small for the price. Crab cakes were good but very expensive for the serving size. We drove a ways and none of us were happy! We heard people complain around us. We won’t be back!!! Blue Heron in Cold Spring puts Bait and Hook to shame. Far better food and a great salad bar. and at least you get a good serving for the price.

This place is close to home always busy ,service is good atmosphere is relaxing . Food is not good at least the 3 times I tried this place . I will unfortunately not be coming back such a waist and over priced joke . My husband got the burger - that was a safe choice here even though they told us it had 2 burger patty’s - its called a smash burger , I’ve had lots of 2 patty smash burgers and this is not one of them , I thought how could you mess up a grilled chicken Alfred so I ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo (kinda thought not sure it’s not a shrimp
Alfredo or at least an option seeing how this place is called “bait and hook” - I received my Alfredo and wow was that a joke to say the least . The tiny cubed chicken that could have passed for can chicken was horrible not to mention the noodles are these tiny spiral noodles and also served in a very tiny cast iron pan topped with lots of panko crumbs and with a very tiny bread stick on top - I’ve gone to Pizza Hut that’s has better chicken Alfredo not to mention it’s $24 . I will never waist my money there again ! Everyone was so nice and understanding but wow this place is definitely a façade.. with their food .I ended up leaving and going somewhere else that was way better and definitely cheaper .

We are foodies and love to go out nice restaurants, often in the North Loop. We were pleasantly surprised how awesome Bait and Hook is! Service was spot on and the food was truly delicious and great quality. The atmosphere is exactly what it should be - friendly, easy, clean, nice, with a hint of upscale but still not trying to be something it’s not. In other words, perfect! We had a great meal, great drinks and great service. Thank you.

Food prepared exactly as it should be for the menu descriptions. Will go there again (not cheap, but you get your money's worth when you do).

Bait & Hook is a slightly more upscale restaurant. The Mood is beautiful, the dishes are presented in an appealing and refined way. The focus is on fish and seafood, but there are also other dishes. The price of the offer is from 20$, but it also goes up significantly. The Service is friendly, but unfortunately our main courses came with a large time interval, which is a shame. Overall, however, definitely recommended, because we all liked it.

Fantastic food and great service. Love the atmosphere. Surprised the seafood is so good in this little town restaurant.

The atmosphere and service was good. The food was horrible. We ordered 3 appetizers, and 2 entrees. $185 later and we are headed to get a pizza at Casey’s. I can’t not express how horrible and overcooked and unseasoned this place is.

If not for an event in Litchfield, I would never have found this place, but I'm glad I found this gem. Food is up there with fine dining around Minneapolis, and prices are very reasonable for the quality. Worth a long drive, just for the experience.
