If you value decent service and food, font bother going here. For the first time in my life (50ish year) I left zero tip. We had 3 people eating with us that are or have been servers and they all agreed. Never have I had a service experience that literally failed at every level. Including a waitress that never even acknowledged it or apologized. Amazingly bad. we were there Sunday evening ( June 1st) , arrived at 5, please was maybe half full. Sat on screen porch area. Other tables that came after us, but seemed to maybe have 'regulars' received their food and drinks well before us and many more check ins.

Last Sunday we had the absolute worst experience. Ordered wings and it took over an hour for them to get out to me. Server never apologized and made the excuse that they were “busy”. The inside of the restaurant was half empty. Once my food showed up it didn’t have the right sauce and was just plain wings and was cold. Love going boating on the chain and stopping by to eat. This service ruined my experience and I won’t be back.

If I could give the service 0 stars, I would. I’ve been to numerous other Shady’s and throughly enjoyed the drinks, food, and service. This visit to long shots (not my first) was really upsetting. We waited 40 minutes to get half of our food, the other half took longer, and all other tables around us (including one that sat down after we ordered) got their food, drinks, etc right away. We waited for water pitchers, drinks, and worst of all our food which was cold upon arrival. I’ve served previously in numerous restaurants and I would have NEVER treated customers as we were treated. Not a single sorry, not a single comment about late food or drinks, nothing. No remedy no apologies. The cherry on top to our unfortunate evening at Shadys Long Shots, we verbalized our frustration and the waitress still took 15 minutes to run our cards, making sure all the tables around us were happy and had everything they needed before allowing us to leave and get on with our night after the terrible service we encountered.
I’m sad I have to leave this review. But it was absolutely unacceptable service all around. This specific waitress needs to do better and learn how to treat customers.

Food 1 star. Raspberry Beret burger, a joke. Took one bite and nope. Burned on one side of burger. Just meh. Service, meh. Won't be back.
Quesadilla burger was quite tasty. However, $1.99 upgrade for tator tots was a joke. I literally got 14 tots. The bill is weird, because they add the tax on each line item, supposedly so the total is their CASH price. Of course, they charge extra to use a credit card. They could make the whole customer experience so much better.

We have always come to shady's for their nacho platter. This time it was horrible. The nachos were piled very high on a pile instead of laid out nice like they used to be. Which left very little meat on the chips and very little cheese. Over half of the nacho chips on the tray were completely dry and had nothing on them. I wish they would go back to laying the nacho chips out flat on the tray and putting more meat and cheese on like they used to be. If they continue to serve this pile high nacho platter with very little meat and cheese we will not be ordering the nacho platter again. Which is sad because they did have the best nacho platter around.
