From the outside first impression to the immediate welcoming on the inside, we were made to feel right at home š” Live acoustic music playing and outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful Trout Lake is making us want to plan another trip soon here. Nikki was exceptional, inviting to a lovely conversation, and had our best interests in mind the whole time. She was knowable about the menu and recommended a refreshing summer non alcoholic drink for me š āļø
Can't say enough good things about it! Oh and our Golden Reviever Cedar was waited on and received excellent service too! š

The worst dining experience weāve had in years.
We came to this restaurant at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. The lawn was packed with people enjoying live musicāa regular Saturday summer event, we later learned. While the atmosphere was lively, it quickly became clear the restaurant was completely unprepared to handle both the crowd and regular diners.
We were seated for a party of three without any warning about delays or kitchen issues. Our āserverā turned out to be a busser doing her best under impossible circumstancesāshe was kind, but clearly untrained for table service. She took our order (1 appetizer, 1 soup, a pizza, and 2 steak salads) and brought my wine, which would be the only properly timed item of the night.
After 45 minutes of waiting with no food, I had to flag her down. She told us the food was ācomingā and to be patient. Thirty minutes later, she offered us a slice of cheesecake to tide us over, followed by what appeared to be her own bag of chips and onion dip, which felt bizarre and unprofessional.
Over 90 minutes in, we finally received the appetizer and soup, followed shortly by the pizza and one steak saladāthe second hadnāt even been entered. By the time we paid, a real server appeared out of nowhere, asking how everything was with a smile, completely oblivious to what had just happened. There was no apology from management, no offer to comp even a glass of wine, and no sense of accountability at all.
We left deeply disappointed. The food, when it finally arrived, was average at bestāand certainly not worth a two-hour ordeal. If the restaurant plans to continue hosting live music, it must be prepared to staff accordingly and communicate delays honestly. This was a total failure on every front. If we hadnāt been there before and had a good experience, weād never return. Now, weāll definitely think twice.

We arrived for cocktails, no one greeted us at the door and we waited 10 minutes to be helped. The service staff argued in front of us because we were just there for cocktails. This made the experience unpleasant. We ordered our drinks and were told we couldnāt split our tabs and we should check their website. Well post it so we can see it! After we paid and were leaving, the server stopped us at the door and she said she was coming through first because she was a lady. The first time I came , the service was great and wanted to show our friends the place. This experience makes me regret and I will make sure people know the experience.

Great food. I have Celiac disease and I have successfully eaten here many times without any problems. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I will continue to support this great new restaurant.

My husband and I have never had a bad meal at Smoke on the Water! This is a fantastic place for date nights, but it's also very kid friendly. My coworkers and I enjoy coming here as well on occasion and Tia's staff are always ready for our large group when we call ahead. Their food and drinks are all wonderful, but a favorite is the Bacon Jam Burger. 150% recommend!
It wish they could deliver. But, always have a good experience when I go there. I'm so happy it is close by.

Decent food but somewhat expensive for just a burger/chips. If I hadnāt already had pizza that day I would have opted for that. Prices seem more like prices Iād see in restaurants in my large city.
I was surprised to see a restaurant this nice looking in Coleraine. A lot has changed since I last lived near the area. Nice to be able to at least experience it.
3 out of 5 of our party received our waters. After the 3rd time asking we all had our waters. Waitress asked if we wanted another beer but then forgot it. We eventually got it after asking. She was nice just seemed forgetful. It didnāt seem busy but I am also not sure how much bigger the restaurant is around the corner from where we sat.

Was super excited to try this place out but unfortunately disappointed. I can't tell small businesses enough how much good customer service is on keeping customers returning. The waitress we had was not personable and when ordered our drinks one was out and instead of making recommendations or letting us know there was other options for lemonade available just said where out and stood there. Later a table sat next to us and there waitress listed like 6 different flavors. The food has definitely changed and was not a great as when first opened. The waitress didn't check in on us after food runner brought out the food until we were done.
