Walked in, ordered take-out of the vegetarian combo. The place was empty. Got my order and went home. TWO meat dishes, disgusting as I am a vegetarian. So disappointed. They offered no apologyor refund, nothing. Terrible service. Not going back as there are lots of other Ethiopian restaurants around. Boo. Thumbs down.

Food was flavorful but not as good as other Ethiopian restaurants in the area. Service was lacking a bit, ordered samosas but didn't come with chutney as shown and when asked they said they don't have it. I will try it one more time at different time of the day to see if things are different.

We came in at a quiet night... most of the business was carry out, but we enjoyed our meal a great deal. The lamb tibs were perfect and the vegetable sampler was amazing. Service was fast and friendly; no trouble finding street parking. Can't wait to come back.

We dined in. Service was very friendly and the food came out very quickly. We had a combination platter. Really great food. I'd read a couple of negative reviews and found none of their criticism to be accurate. I can't wait to try more of their menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

We came here last year in late October, but I remember the experience very well. At the time, we felt this place wasn't suited for dine-in, as no one else was in the restaurant except for us and we went on to see lots of people come through the door and order things to-go or from the bakery. Our waitress was kind and patient, despite us frequently changing our minds on what we wanted from the menu. Why were we changing our minds so much? Because the menus we were given were outdated, and as such, they didn't have the dishes we originally wanted.I remember the food took a long time to get to us and by the time it did, all of our injera was ice cold and while the entree dishes were still warm, they were unbearably spicy. Everything from the derek tibs to the legumes and lentils. I'm pretty sure it sat on the counter for a good while before she noticed it was there and brought it out to us. Our family is East African but this was too spicy even for us, our throats were still burning at least an hour after we finished eating. For what it's worth, they have very strong authentic Ethiopian coffee, and the porcelain it's served in is absolutely gorgeous.Recent reviews make me believe that things relating to the dine-in experience seem to have changed for the better since our visit, but we have not been back since and don't plan on returning.Parking: Parking lot is located behind the building

I got carry out as I live up the street and I am an enthusiast for Ethiopian food. The food was over cooked and honestly hands down some of the worst Ethiopian food I have ever had. The meat was so over cooked and chewy the potatoes were not cooked all the way through the lentils which are my favorite dish are mediocre at best. There are so many better options this business needs to stop cooking this is unacceptable.

Despite the good reviews, way overpriced for the serving you receive, inattentive to the front desk, bright white lights in the seating areas, and an overall negative experience. The food was significantly more buttery/oily than any other Ethiopian restaurant in the TC. I got derek tibs (derek meaning “dry”), yet it was still drowning in a pool of butter or oil. I’ve never had that be the case with this dish. I believe they probably do this to fill you up on the smaller portions you’re given. The server seemed nice, but was completely absent after we ordered. Save your money and go to other Ethiopians that give you the bang for your buck with quality food such as Dilla, or my personal favorite, Bolé.

I ordered awaze tips. I got experience the worst Ethiopian injara, it was very hard to eat because of the oil, salt and no the vegetables that I ordered. I came to a long drive to have that food I get disappointed, and I'm not advising you to waste your time and money.
