So I’ve dined here since it opened and I’m so glad there’s a Vietnamese place in this area. What I’m really impressed with is the ingredients and specialty dishes they have that are not commonly found in twin cities VN eatery.
Bun Mam is very rarely seen anywhere and they do a good job here, to which even my mother agrees which is huge kudos. They even have huyet in their bun bo hue which is an uncommon ingredient and a bold, but welcome choice that shows me they’re committed to authenticity. I really hope they don’t stray.
My only critique is I’ve had maybe 2 dishes that I didn’t care for, first the bun thit cha gio. Toppings were done well but the noodles were hot and over cooked, leaving a mushy, wet consistency. Thinking it was a fluke, I tried it twice and have decided to stick to my other go-to dishes. Secondly, the banh mi was over toasted, crumbling with unsatisfying chew. These are all subjective to my taste so that being said I’ve found that the other dishes outshine these few short-comings.
The bottom line is this place is great! Owners are friendly and I wish them great success.

Best Bun Bo hue ever. Our family come every weekend, me and my wife usually order Bun Bo hue or bun mam. Our kids love beef stir fry with noddle and rice with grill pork.

I am so happy I found Phoever! Their pho is fantastic. They sell these five spice wings that are some of the best chicken I've ever had! But best of all they have the most potent chili oil, it is such good flavor and unlike most places actually has some spice!
