The owner is the most unhappy person in Minnesota. Save a trip and don’t go. He turned us away at 8:00 because he kitchen was closed. Food came out 45 minutes later. Horrible experience.

Shout out to the bartender that guy with the mustache knows what hes doing. The cook on the other hand dosent know how to even cook food. Thanks for the 2 smallest peices of bacon on my cheese burger and the raws burger I have ever eat. Only reason ill go back is because the bartender with the mustache knows what hes doing. Love how old fashion the bartender was he was great.

The walleye strips were spectacular! Beer was cold. Ambience was superb! We love The Landing and visit by boat each season.

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere as it's right on the lake, as the name states. Other than that, it's pretty basic and they don't have much of a selection. Little selection as it is, but they of course didn't have what I wanted when I ordered it. No more grilled chicken (?), only crispy. Plus, Google said they were open until 11, but the kitchen is only open until 8! Even on a Saturday. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you absolutely have to see the lake or be on it to eat. Maybe get drinks here? I only gave it two stars because the lake is gorgeous. I was not impressed with this place.

Our server was a bit ditzy and slow. We had to ask three times for water. It wasn't super busy and there were a couple of other servers working too, so we weren't sure why service was so slow. The food was your basic bar/grill options. Nothing that inspires us to go back, not even the view of the lake from the patio.

Beautiful view out the back and the bartender Craig is amazing. We had food a couple of times and it was good. (Burger, wings, cheese curds, and walleye bites) We would end our long days for a quick drink and Craig made us feel welcome.

20 mins for a server, another 1.5 hours to wait for 2 subpar walleye sandwiches. If you want to sit and take in a nice view it’s worth it but if you want food bring a picnic basket.

We were unable to visit this place as it was closed each time we tried. We saw many boats etc pull up and leave due today being closed. I would think during the summer, ESPECIALLY July 4th week they would have been open knowing how busy the lake would be. Very disappointing to have a place so close that we couldn't even enjoy.

Don’t go, not open but Friday and Saturday, try to go at 8 on Sunday with 11 people for food and they say kitchen closed and 9:30 Tuesday night and told us to go home it’s not worth their time. If they had better people working maybe but not very friendly. Come up for a week with the family and make the lake vermilion name bad. Guess we will not be back. Can’t ever fix the lights on the front of the building.

Great vibes, NICE people but Service could be a little faster, but I understand because it is a busy restaurant and food is great and if your family, is there a nice little stream for your kids to go play while you’re ordering and I will definitely return

The Landing is a good place to grab lunch or dinner. We started with the cheese-filled won tons and cheese curd appetizers, both of which were delicious. I opted for the walleye tacos, which came with three tacos. They were tasty, but I would have preferred more fish on each taco or two tacos. My husband ordered the adult grilled cheese, which could use some improvement. There was barely any cheese on the sandwich, with a few slices of bacon and a lot of tomato slices. Despite these minor flaws, the overall food quality is good.
