Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

This was the first time we were there. The food was mediocre at best. Salad bar and drinks were the best part. It certainly was not worth the $37 I paid for the two of us. Unfortunately I won't go back.

I am a very picky eater and I tried the chicken strips here one and loved them, I haven't seen them since and was bummed. I called to see if there was going to be any again and the Manager Kirk made me a special order of them when my family got to the restaurant. He was super friendly and had amazing customer service!! This place was great until they removed Coke Zero from the dispensers. They should bring back the Coca-Cola freestyle machines that used to be there. The food is good, service is fast. Make sure to hit up the ice cream machine on your way out.

The last few times we have been there the food has been terrible. There has been a maximum of 20 people in there at a time on a weekend. Which is nice for no wait but its because the food is terrible. The ranch is watered down so bad, nothing is fresh, the steak was over cooked, ice cream machine was out of mix and wouldn't work. It was terrible. Also the high chairs I dont think have been washed or cleaned ever. They were so sticky they felt like they had a thick layer of grime on them. I used my son's wipes to clean the high chair as vest as i could before even putting him in it. Then when we were done we went and washed all of our hands because we just felt dirty. It also smelled like sour milk where we were sitting and "trying" to enjoy our meal. If you want a good golden corral experience then go to the maple grove location! Coon rapids location was horrible!

Food was amazing! Great staff and polite. Although the reason for 4 stars is the desserts were not the best. Mainly the ice cream, it had a sandpaper texture. Overall has a great variety of food selections and is more than satisfying for me.

Went on a Tuesday at 4:30.. most of the food was cold.. peel and eat shrimp wasn't right.. smelled rotten.

I am not usually a fan of large buffet style restaurants, but I have to admit everything was spot on. The food selection was ample and what I ate was for the most part was good. The pizza was a bit bland and to get toppings for tacos entails some hunting around. Those are the only knocks I can say. Well done GC staff!

Golden Corral is way too expensive! It cost my family over well $100 to eat. It's outrageous! Yeah, you need to make money, but that's way too much for a buffet. Old Country Buffet was cheaper for 5 adults! We're never going to Golden Corral again. We walked in, and said 5 adults. And we wanted drinks, which was extra. This was a year ago I do believe. We ate, and soon left. We said we aren't going to go back. It was a Friday though. That's pretty much all that happened.

Buffet with lots of options. They have a huge salad bar, chicken, ribs, ham, soups, etc. Their dessert selection is a little small, but still lots of good stuff to choose from. The restaurant is was clean. Food was constantly being refilled or checked on while we were there. The woman clearing our plates was very friendly, as was the person at the register. It was $35 for 2 dinners and 2 drinks

Terrible! I don't know what I was expecting. I guess I always saw the commercials on TV and at least thought the food was going to be half decent at the least but I wasn't expecting this level of mediocrity. I feel bad for giving a bad review but this place needs to close. I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning.

Good pricing; no military discount though. Needs better beverage options. Would also like steak for lunch, not just during dinner hours.

The sides were lacking, the desert area was empty. The steak was good tasting. This buffet was apparently made for short people, i couldn't reach things in back row of salad bar with out almost kneeling. I can definitely think of better places to go to eat than here.

This is a decent location. The first time we visited we we're not very happy. We found some mold on the tomatoes, which having worked in food service it's known to happen. We eventually went back twice and both times have found things to be much better. The food is good, and they have a grill there where they make pretty good friend stuff. Every time we have visited, the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I do think they need to clean some of the high chairs better, they get a bit dirty with how many kids eat there.

The shrimp, butterfly shrimp, shrimp scampi, and steak that was actually rare were delicious.
