Did not like the Sweet and sour shrimp on a stick. It was not very tasty at all. Looked like the Shrimp on a stick at Hyvee.

Been ordering takeout from Jin's since 1993. Best Chinese food I've ever had. It has never been less than amazing.

Went and picked up food with my partner for a late lunch. Super nice lady, prices were good, and the food came out quick. That said, the food itself left something to be desired. The order of pork wontons, as pictured, had like the smallest possible amount of meat they could have, and they were all like that. The fried rice was pretty greasy and lacked much flavor. The chicken for the lemon chicken was ok, but not good. The lemon sauce was decent, if a little sweet, but that's pretty expected in my opinion. The Szechuan pork lacked seasoning and flavor as well. We will not be paying a second visit.

The prices were pretty good, but otherwise, I can't recommend it. The food is slimy, aside from the crunchy, factory packaged bag of chow mein noodles you're given. It really didn't have much flavor, other than salty. We ordered two combinations, but we were only given one little container of fried rice, which also didn't really taste like anything but salt. Additionally, they take cash only, no cards or electronic payments. I don't think we'll be coming back.

Jin's Chow Mein use to be a okay spot to get Chinese food from, but lately they have fallen off with their food. I ordered some chicken egg foo young and chicken fried rice and both were awful, my egg foo young tasted like they use power eggs and the fried rice was over cooked and I have been going to them for 15yrs since moving from Chicago.
Love Jin’s service and food!
Simply the best old school chow mein joint. A nostalgic gem.
The Chow Mein is the best, and the atmosphere is exactly what I am looking for in a great Chow Mein joint. Incredibly fast & friendly service. FYI, cash only.
