This place is an excellent upscale restaurant tucked away in Currie MN just a mile from Lake Shetek State Park. The hamburger, ribs, NY strip and salmon were all delicious! The menu had gluten free and vegan dishes indicated which we appreciated. We liked it so much we went back a second time.

My experience at Lakeside Hideaway was fantastic! The brisket plate and brisket birra tacos were absolutely delicious. The brisket was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, cooked just right. The tacos were a delightful twist with amazing seasoning and fresh toppings. The atmosphere by the lake was serene, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Everything was great with the exception they were out of a few things; but I understand that is to be expected with only being open 1 time a month. I hope they are able to continue doing this.

Typical menu for small town eatery PLUS a wonderful variety of great food for vegetarians and diabetics! The best cheesecakes in the state! Sorry Cheesecake Factory. Not really!! HAPPY SERVERS who are knowledgeable re the menu and helpful with making selections.

The folks at Mill Street BBQ simply do it right. Must haves include the Beet & Goat Cheese salad, Smoked Mac n Cheese and the Ribeye. Tried the new Fairland Farms Pork Chop. Delicious! Keep up the good work.
