“Walked in and sat right at the counter, directly across from the idle flat top… One other local sitting to our right, that’s it… and then the conversation started and the owner/cook brought us menus and turned on the flat top. To her credit, she was obviously working on a catering order for later in the day, but she never mentioned it and she got right down to work making us a terrific breakfast as we conversed with the only other patron. Two eggs, bacon (perfectly cooked) and toast and we had a front row seat the whole time! These really are the type of breakfast restaurants we look for along our way! We only hope we didn’t take the owner too far away from her other duties, to make the two of us breakfast! But we sure do appreciate that she did! We will definitely visit again!“
