The staff was super friendly and suggestive of unique drinks which was fun! Some people in my group loved their drinks and some weren’t expecting the unique drinks. It was in the midst of a cute store that was fun to look around and there were spots to sit at and enjoy, would recommend making a stop for sure!!
If you walk into Lit and make a beeline to the back right a small cafe that serves a bit of bakery, a good amount of small batch coffee, and a few teas. The server was very kind. I asked him a bunch of questions but didn't end up ordering anything though others in my party did. I was disappointed in their tea selection. The cherry chai was fine for the average American but for those who are purists it's way too sweet. I prefer a spicy chai. My husband enjoyed it though....
Stumbled upon a hidden gem while exploring Lit in Detroit Lakes—and what a delightful surprise! The warm, welcoming staff offered tastings of their cold brew coffee and tea, each one lovely. I chose a hibiscus tea sparkler (tea with a bubbly twist of sparkling water), and it was absolutely delicious—so much so that I couldn’t leave without a growler to take home!
