First time I really had a bad experience here. Had a taco salad - the crisp bowl it comes in? Stale. The food itself definitely mediocre. But what was really bad was the service. I got a welcoming smile when I came in and she was quick to get to me and take my drink order. But I had to practically get up and flag her down to make an order for food - and again when I wanted extra salsa. Just very good at ignoring eye contact. Disappointing bc our other visits there have always been good.

Very cool vibe in here with some historic decor and an amazing lakefront view. The food was excellent, beer was excellent, and the server was top notch as well. And. They played hockey on their TV's. Wins across the board.

How much money can you part with for cafeteria food? Thats probably not entirely fair, the footlongs are decent enough. There used to be more options though. Service is rarely great and I get it, you're by the lake, but that shouldn't mean a hamburger is $17. It's a little ridiculous. And unfortunately they fall under the same zumbrella as so many other restaurants in the area that charge similarly ridiculous prices because they apparently don't want local money.

The service was top notch and the restaurant was clean, warm and inviting. Their brew selection was vast and delicious.If you’re looking for a clam chowder that eats like a meal, this place has it. It was creamy, buttery and rich, the clams were extremely tender and flavorful, and the balance of potatoes and veggies was perfect. The kind of delicious that tempts you to lick the bowl clean.
